The TV needs to be updated so it can get along better with wifi. We didn't come to Townsend to watch TV but it would have been nice to watch YouTube TV or Prime or Netflix without locking up.

The neighborhood was nice. Good food around town. Really liked being right on the river.

The bed was a pull down from the wall. Wasn’t comfortable. My husband and I kept rolling into the middle. If it was a regular bed probably would have been better. There were some crumbs on counter and trash under bed you could see when sitting on couch. Other than that everything was great.

Close to stream with outdoor seating. Away from the hustle and bustle but writhing driving distance to it.

Needed more blankets. Only sheets were provided for sleeper couch and no additional blanket was found for it. The mattress pad for it was very thin, stained, and uncomfortable as well but it served its purpose.

Floors were dirty. WiFi was spotty. Unit was very hard to find, different name than one given. Dishwasher was full of standing, soured water and smelled terrible. Didn't use it. Unable to watch tv.

Not being able to work things out through Booking.com as we had been using Booking.com for several years when we traveled. But it has actually turned out well since we now have a new relationship for a nice place to stay when we come back to the Smokies. Which we will. And again.

We did not stay at Little River Loft & Riverfront Gem. The rental agreement I was to sign indicated that it was not pet friendly in spite of Booking.com's website indicating otherwise. At the time I had to sign the rental agreement it was too late to cancel since there was no cancelation available via the website. I tried to reach out to Booking.com but was unable to speak to a human being. Instead I reached out to Vacasa who actually had the booking from Booking.com and spoke with a human customer support person there. They said that even though I could not cancel, they would help me locate a comparable location to stay in that was pet friendly and transfer my payment to the agreeable location. And this we did. Kudos to Vacasa for fixing the issue that Booking.com created. We wound up staying at Bear's Tree at Black Bear Cottages rather than a condo/apartment. Bear's Tree at Black Bear Cottages is very convenient to all the restaurants and any shopping you might desire to do. Grocery shopping included!

Cleaning fee was more than the room. More like a drive up second floor motel room than a loft. Towel fixture was missing off the wall.

It did not have any appeal to it, just plain. After texting for the first evening and no one came to the room to correct things. Still can’t believe I had to put clean sheets on the bed. Thank goodness there was an extra set in the closet. I had to buy shower shoe just to take a shower.

We called this 800# the morning after our first night and told the girl that we were leaving early. Although appeared as it did in the pictures (the inside of the room) there was only a full size MURPHY bed! It was the hardest, most uncomfortable and squeakyest bed we’ve ever attempted to sleep on. After trying to sleep together for about 3 hours, my husband and I agreed there was no way we could both sleep on it together. I ended up moving to lay on the couch. I used a towel as a blanket. Also, the air conditioner kept making a really weird scraping noise! The ad said it had a queen size bed! No way was that bed any bigger than a full size! And between the Murphy bed, the squeaking and hardness of the mattress, we were both miserable and our backs ached! This was supposed to be our 25th wedding anniversary trip! Turned into a bust! Not to mention, the studio is in what looks like an apartment building! Certainly not worth the money! I asked the girl in the call center for a partial refund of the last 2 nights. Of course, she said she could not do that but would escalate the request.

The living room area was very tasteful decorated.

We could not figure out how to get the television stations to come on. But this let us have a tv free weekend and time to catch up on our reading. There needs to be written tv instructions.

The condo was very nice. The layout was great and the location was good. There was a little confusion at first because I was getting texts which is how I thought I would get my instructions for getting into the condo but then when I called for help they told me to check my email which I did. Love the deck seating and the fire pit area and the pool will be nice when/if it opens up. We would be interested in a longer stay depending on rates….

1-It did not have Netflix as stated in description. 2-Major plumbing problem...Water continually backed up in kitchen sink. Kitchen faucet loose. Bathroom sink wouldn't drain. Stopper was broken. Both kitchen and bath drains gurgled when used. Plumbing line stopped up? We were afraid to use the shower thinking it might stop up too so we went without a shower.🙁 We used only the kitchen sink to wash up. 3-There was a hamper full of dirty towels and linens in the closet, just thrown in there. 4-Advertised fireplace was non-functioning perhaps due to bad batteries in its remote control. Pilot light on? 5-FYI- The bed is a Murphy bed with a terrible mattress. It had no support, soft to the point that my husband couldn't sleep and had a backache in the morning. He slept on the sofa the second night. 6- It was 30° outside while we were in beautiful Townsend. The heater in this unit only blew cold air and showed 61° on its display. 7-Glasses in kitchen cabinet were sticky dirty. We had to wash them first. 8-No kitchen or dining table. We ate bent over the coffee table. 9-We tried to call Vacasa to get someone to come address at least some of these issues, but were not successful. We do not typically complain in these situations, but didn't want someone else to be faced with problems that could ruin an anticipated restful getaway.
