To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United States of AmericaThe room as a whole was pretty clean. Bathroom and kitchen spotless, but the furniture could use some additional cleaning and/or updating. Upgrade on electronics (internet enabled tv) would be nice, but not a deal breaker.
Room size, bathroom size, full kitchen, comfortable bed, large patio, great view (ocean). Pesca at the top of Ilikai is great. Amazing views.

PhilippinesWhen my husband & I were walking around almost midnight back to the hotel, by the stoplight (side of Hilton Hawaiian), we were approached by 3 men w/ questionable personalities. They were asking/borrowing our cellphones which of course we said no to. They seemed to be drunk men. It was scary experience

United States of Americawe had 2 unwelcome visitors (cockroach) on 2 separate days which I reported immediately but was never addressed. I was told they’d send someone to treat the room but no one showed up. someone in the facility said its pretty common being that we’re on the lower floor
excellent location - we had a corner 2 bdrm unit and very much enjoyed the harbor, ocean, lagoon and pool view from our deck - had a blast watching the fireworks. having a 3rd full bath was a really nice surprise too.

BermudaWe had a fabulous stay at the Ilikai! The rooms and layout were spacious and comfortable. The hotel is in an excellent location- walking distance to everywhere. Left from the entrance leads you to the park and the Ala Moana Mall. Right from the entrance leads you to Waikiki Beach and shops. You can enjoy walks both in the park and on the beach across from the hotel. A block across the boulevard has ‘The Food Pantry’ where you can get provisions. The hotel staff are very accommodating. You are given a free water and Dave’s ice cream daily! We had a room on the 25th floor with spectacular views. There are fireworks every Friday night from the Hilton that you can see if you are on the water side. We liked that we were able to leave our suitcases with the bellman after check out as we had a late flight. We highly recommend the Ilikai and would stay there again!

Cleaners did not replenish dirty dishtowels. Initially glassware/stemware looked used/dirty. Restaurant bottom floor closed/gone. Elevator issues.
Room quiet and comfortable, loved the balcony, amazing view from room, quiet inside room, close/walkable to everything we wanted and/or needed. Laundry easy access and close to room. Two sunny outside pools with towels. Staff great attitude, responsive, kind and pleasant.

New ZealandLifts. Due to a recent fire the lifts were powered by generators. Only 7 people at a time in each lift so queues and long waits. Lifts were unreliable with people being stuck in them. I was scared every time I got in one. Bar area closed up. Pool area too small for the size of the complex. Couldn’t get a lounger and not enough umbrellas.

United States of AmericaElevators are an issue. Kettles were not a non stick surface,very hard to cook with, refrigerator opens backwards. Beach towels , were hard to come by. No paper flyers for accommodations or bus maps , for the city bus. Need more washers and dryers per floor.

CanadaNeed a short cut to get to beach. Elevators need to be programmed, it worked well for us on the higher floors but people on the 2-6 floors had long waits apparently. Place to get cocktails.
Close to beach, nice views, lounge pool, still modern and well kept for the age of building, valet was quick, valet staff were awesome.
