Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaJust to be totally honest the cleaning in the kitchen was horrible. The oven had pepperoni and cheese all over the inside . Which when preheating the oven made it smell horrible because it was burning inside the oven . The very bottom of the oven (the storage drawer ) had food , pizza cheese and pepperoni in it . I cleaned it myself but took pictures for you to have . There were no sheets or blankets for the pull out couch. We had to use towels to lay on . Which to me was unacceptable considering the price point for this apt. The accommodation was for two females that didn’t want to sleep together. Response from the host was very slow. Sometimes a day later . I extended my original stay May 2-6th until the 7th . But was locked out of the apt on the 6th because they changed the code for a checkout that wasn’t until the next day . Took me an hour to get a response and the code set back so I could get back in . This was after a email to the property and several phone calls. I was locked out for over a hour and some change . Now I’m looking at my booking and it is saying the original booking was May 1-5 and now 7-8. Not sure what is going on but that is incorrect . It should be May 2-6 and extended to the 7th . I have already checked out and flew back to NC as that was the purpose of me extending the stay due to a later flight . Now my concern is that I’m not being over charged or that you have me renting this space until the 8th . Even with all these issues the stay was great and I would visit again . But if I owned this unit I would be having a serious talk with the cleaning team .
The location of this property was amazing . Minutes away from everything

United States of AmericaA long row of large dumpsters ran the length of our unit. It was very loud with so much banging, especially in the morning.
Clean, new, spacious - good privacy for 2 couples. Close to local venues. Felt safe with secured building and gated garage.

United States of AmericaBe aware there is no on site parking. You park across the street and it costs $47 for 24 hours.
The apartment was clean and comfortable. It was close enough to walk to major attractions. It had a nice courtyard with a grill. It was right next to “The Gulch”. We had a fun long weekend.

United States of AmericaWe had a wonderful experience staying at Locale Music Row. The apartment was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was perfect. We were able to easily walk to bars, restaurants, and shops in the Gulch. The host provided all the information needed prior to arrival. It was easy to get into the building and to the apartment. We will definitely stay there again in the future!

United States of AmericaDidn't like how noisy it was, or that there wasn't a tv in the bedroom. Toilet paper was of the absolute lowest quality for sure.
I loved the view from the patio, & the fact that it was an entire apartment. Kitchen was full stocked with anything you'd need.

AustraliaAs many have mentioned, the check in process is quite average. You only get access information sent to you at 4pm (on-the-dot) so you must have internet otherwise you won't have any details. No options for luggage storage, and early check in/late check out is quite expensive
Great apartment in a great location, walking distance to downtown. Good amenities within the apartment, has all you need and is a comfortable stay

United States of AmericaThe carpet in the bedroom had stains and the couch in the living room smelled of vomit and was also stained. The maze of the hallway to get to the apartment was awful. The third floor tenants did not obey the quiet time hours because it sounded like a heard of Buffalo came in at 3 am causing restless sleep.
The location was great and the apartment was nice. The staff was great and attentive. The shower head broke off in one of the bathrooms and I alerted the staff. The shower head was replaced within a few hours while we were out for brunch. I was completely impressed.

AustraliaAs with most comments I've read here, getting into the apartment was probably the most frustrating process. There's literally a 20cm x 40cm sign that says "The local" on a wall that you can miss easily. Thank fully the girls next door in MARCQ we're amazingly helpful and directed me through the process.
The size of apartment 252 was generous and bed was comfy with full kitchen and laundry available. What would make this place better is fixing the small things Ike the handle on the inside of the shower door wasn't even attached and the water pressure of the shower itself. The complex was safe and secure but a fair distance distance to downtown Nashville. We had to uber

CanadaAt checkin there was confusion about the entry code which took some time to sort out but staff was readily available via phone and text. At first we were told there was parking on site and charged for parking but then the day before was told it was closed and to park at the lot across the street. If you use the QR code or the text message to pay for parking you can only pay one day at a time so we decided to use Spothero, but there was a miscommunication between the app and the parking company and our car got immobilized with a boot. The parking company came quickly, but it was still a pain - don’t use SpotHero! Our room faced the back so generally quiet except in the morning when the garbage was collected. Lastly, we were told that the pool was open year-round, but it is only open after memorial day.
We loved the size of the two bedroom apt, the location (quick walk to both Music Row and the Gulch) and the facilities - especially the gym. The staff was also very helpful.

CanadaThe initial codes to get into the building did not work and the instructions were a bit confusing (what order to key in the building code, door code unit code). Once we were in though, there was a key fob made available to us that made entering a lot easier. When we arrived, we were told that there was no on-site parking (which was a major selling-point in our decision to stay here), because of ongoing construction in the parking garage and that there was a paid parking lot across the street we could use. We were offered free parking as an upgrade because of a problem we encountered upon arrival. There was indeed available parking in the garage and no visible construction, so I’m not sure what that was all about. We were talking with a rep that was based in Texas, so maybe done miscommunication? And one minor thing we would have liked was a bigger couch in the sitting room. It was difficult for us both to relax comfortably and unwind after a long day of walking on the loveseat. The space was small, but there was some room for a bigger couch.
The property was very clean, tastefully decorated, lots of space in the kitchen and bedroom for two people, had a huge bathroom and closet with laundry. It was in a great location, between Midtown and the Gulch (closer to the Gulch), and within walking distance to Downtown. There was no on-site staff, but they were very responsive to texts and calls and immediately helped us with a few problems. All of the facilities in the building were made available to us including the gym, the pool and the rooftop patio. There was also a “parlour room” (a common area) that looked very comfortable and would be nice to use if you were travelling with a group.

CanadaThe only down side was our bed. There are clearly loose screws and the middle board underneath would not stay straight to keep everything balanced so the boards kept falling, even when gently sitting on the bed. I would recommend looking at it, we had to fix it 4 times during our stay and you have to take the mattress and everything off to get it back to normal.
It was the perfect spot location wise, so close to downtown but also far enough that it’s still quiet. The whole building was beautiful. The room and balcony were stunning.
