Super clean and comfortable

There isn't any real lake/beach access without jumping in a car (this wasn't super important to me in the fall, but could be less ideal in the summer). You also get one key, which could be challenging if you have a couple of people doing different things. The door is also set to lock behind you (unless you unlock it) and there's no office so you have to call someone if you get locked out. The moral: keep your key and phone with you when you leave the room :)

The motel was very clean and comfortable. The room felt very welcoming to walk into. It's got a cute area with a pool, grill, and fire pits. They also provide extra blankets; coffee; both a coffee and tea pot; and shampoo, soap, and lotion. The decor felt very appropriate for the Adirondacks. Being close to Indian Lake, the location is also ideal for trips to Speculator, Indian Lake, and the Blue Mountain lake area and there are great hikes less than 3 minutes from the motel!

Comfortable. Affordable. The outdoor area was great! We forgot a backpack and the cleaning staff called right away.

No staff. Everything is handled remotely. Disigned for hikers, hunters, and fishermen. We enjoyed time with other guests around the fire.

Side of bed against wall but easily moved out a bit. We replaced it when we left.

Room was recently renovated and clean. Quick response to a minor confusion about room number. Appreciated fridge and both coffee maker and hot water kettle for tea.

Would have liked a TV for entertainment. We were there for work, so we really didn't have the luxury of having time to go out and about to keep ourselves busy. A microwave also would have been nice to have.

It was clean and cozy, updated, and in a beautiful location. The property management was friendly by email and eager to help. Parking was close, and lockbox entry made it easy for checking in.

It was totally fine for us for a couple of days but the room and bathroom are very small for four people. It’s a great place for travelers who are just looking for a clean spot to sleep and planning to spend most of the time exploring the area or relaxing in the outside spaces.

Loved the rustic cabin type of feel, communal fire pits and grills with wood, utensils, sink provided.

The room was clean and comfortable, filled with so many thoughtful touches: oatmeal, coffee, and tea, and hot chocolate; books to read, extra bedding, guide books for the area. The location is very good, right near the marina on Indian Lake.

Water pressure for showers was terrible. Also it would be nice to have a few shelves to put clothes rather than living out of luggage.

Room too small for 2 queens, Bed tight- had to climb over each other when peeing at night, no shelves or drawers for clothes, nobody on site so had to communicate by text or email.

The shower head was horrible and the shower floor was almost mushy and felt like you were going to fall through.

The room was decorated very nicely with lots of little extras to make it special. The bed was very comfortable.

The room was uncomfortably warm even with the fan. We were unable to open the window near the bed (unit 2). Shower bars need to be sturdier for safety.

The quiet location convenient to Indian Lake restaurant which was very good. Reasonable distance from the Wild Center, Adirondack Experience and the North Country National Scenic Trail trailhead in Speculator.

Only one choice of bed size (double). No TV and no AC.

It was clean and pretty quiet. Good location for us to explore the area and visit with family who were camping nearby.

Lighting could have been better, perhaps individual lights over the beds to allow for reading prior to sleeping. Could use a few hooks for used wash cloths, towels. Suggest a basket to put used towels in so people don't put wet towels on the wood floor.

Bathroom window didn't open and there was no ceiling fan so the shower steamed things up a bit.

It was Rustic in a fun hipster kind of way. No staff on premisses everything is done via email and a lockbox for the key. Room was very clean, very warm in midwinter and thoughtfully laid out considering the space limitations.

Being woke up at 11:30 by frat boys giggling when we were getting up early to fish. No TV. Maybe no reception up there but with wifi we could sign into Netflix or Amazon and drowned the noise out
