Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Everything was very run down and stained. No TV or table/chair(s) in the room. Elevator broken.
Staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. No bugs (bedbugs or roaches). Room was clean. Coffee always available.

The entire place was trashed. Garbage everywhere and the whole place smelled like urine. No remote in the room. No towels available.

There was trash everywhere loud music thumping I asked for another pillow because there was only one on the bed which was barely made and could see a very old mattress and when I asked for the pillow, he said sorry we ran out basically and hung up on me, then called back and said that there was a prank collar and thought that I was the prank collar Besides that loud noise coming from the toilet was unbearable. We had no towels and I did not trust to leave my car outside at all and the checkout was horrible. It took us 30 minutes to check out because the guy was in the back and some car, smoking weed or drugs of some sort, this is the worst experience I’ve ever had

The room had a tv with no remote and cord to watch it and no room phone. I called downstairs and told the young guy that was at the front desk about it and he said he was going to take care of it he didn't that night the next day was the same and I said at this point I didn't want to finish staying the remainder of my stay but was informed that I would still be charged and the manager was really rude when I asked for a refund and explained about no tv or phone and she made the statement if it was such a problem I should have kept complaining about it but I shouldn't have had to keep complaining if I already had and it had a lot of stuff going on involving the police and it's a motel it seems like for tricking and stuff if you ask me it's nothing like they advertise on the website

Police officer shot by guest while I was there. Completely gang ran and definitely human trafficking going on. Thugs lined up in the dark stairways. People walking through the parking lot and halls like drug Zombies. I stayed here originally in January, then a month ago and it was a completely different place. It was safe nice and clean. Thats why I returned but what a difference 1 month has made. The room had no TV or phone the police was always coming for a problem and the office owner was really nasty I told them I didn't want to stay any longer and was still charged for the night so I had to end up staying the tub was no nasty and look like they just made the bed up with dirty linen then have the nerve to charge a 50 to 100 dollar deposit I would never recommend anyone to stay here

Need a bigger laundry facility. It suck staying on the third floor after a long day on a construction site but you got to lay your head where you can.
Pricing. Great staff. They deserve a raise. Very polite.
