Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Nothing, Excellent value, on a Saturday night this was a comparable to the cheapest casino room.
Ease of booking. Timely, clear instructions. Amenities. We got to do a load of laundry, eat at a real table, and catch a movie on a nice TV and comfy couches. Filtered water in the refrigerator was nice. 2 bed two bath, I wish we could have stayed longer. If you want to go out drinking at casinos, you would need a ride back. It's not far, but it would be a long walk to Casablanca. Worked out for me this time because it saved me hundreds, if not thousands of gambling losses. Perfectly content to stay in, get good food and relax instead. There is also a fitness center and pool we didn't check out. A park, and a dog park right across the street. I'm moving in! Beautiful property and no bs booking. It seems like respect their property and things go smoothly. Done!

It’s close to the Casablanca where our other friends were staying. So it’s very convenient to go back and forth. Also, the bed in the master is so comfy, I haven’t slept that well in a while, I wish I knew what kind of mattress it was!

The two toilet seats were not anchored properly to the base of the toilets.

Supply foil, baggies, nightlights in bathrooms.Front door keypad hard to work. Ironing board broke, couldn't release. All in all pretty nice. My first stay. Would do it again, thank you

I know this probably out of your control but the water in the jacuzzi was cold. Not a huge deal but after driving for 7 hours we were definitely looking forward to a “good soak “

My truck was to big for the 2 car garage! The driveway is large enough though. I have a Ford quad cab with long bed and it fit great in the driveway!
Everything! I wanted to move in! Really convenient, comfortable, cozy and quiet!!! Wonderful if you have pets! Home away from home! I just loved this place!!! I wished I was going to be there longer! It has everything you need!!

No corkscrew in the kitchen but not really a big deal. Don’t let that deter you from staying with them, just bring your own or run to Walmart.
We actually got switched to another one of Cool Properties, properties in Mesquite so we did not stay at the Spring. This was due to some sort of scheduling conflict on their end. However, the condo on Kitty Hawk was beautifully decorated, clean and the beds were really cozy.

The beds were too soft for are liking, but some people like really soft beds :)
The location and the unit was very nice. The owner was great to work with, they sent us a personal code and it was perect to access. The floorplan was nice, and perfect location.

Being woken up at 6.30 by leaf blowers and lawn mowers. Bright street light outside makes the bedroom light at night (blinds also do not block the light)

It was not clear to us which unit we were staying in once we arrived. We were able to get ahold of the property owner quickly to resolve. However, it would have been nice to have that information before arriving and feeling awkward in the middle of the road until we were able to confirm.
I liked not having to have keys and being able to use the door code. We appreciated also having access to the garage door opener once we were inside.
