Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe third bedroom, wasn't a room, just a bed behind a curtain. Still comfy and fine, just not quite what was expected. Took us a few moments to find the right door. Partly because the directions to the car part were a little vague, so we initially parked in the ground-level open car park across the road, not the multistory.
Easy access, no bother, valet parking, self-catering, tidy and good facilities.

United States of AmericaWe had trouble the first night with a broken bed frame, but they fixed it as soon as they could. Some of the appliances were hard to navigate because the buttons were broke or stuck. We also had an issue with the air conditioner. We had to buy fans to stay cool. After the first night, it got better. Parking was $20 a day for an extra car. The homeless live outside the building, making it hard to feel safe.
I loved it was close to everything downtown. Minutes away from the museum and Reunion Tower. The staff was amazing in helping us.

And NO STAFF ON SITE WHICH IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. MY biggest complaint stands with BOOKING.COM who double charged me and am still trying to get straightened out! Very angry with them
Close to convention center where my granddaughters team competing in National Cheer Competition.

United States of AmericaGetting into the building with the codes was a little challenging until I got use to the system. The virtual key was helpful.
Love the loft type apartment in an old building. Big windows! Comfy beds. Big bathroom. Full kitchen. Vending in building. Convenience store below. Safe, secure building. Walkable to everywhere

Australia2 main things Firstly, the homeless people out the front of the building is something we weren't aware of until we got there. it seems to be a central point for the homeless to sleep and hang around during the day. Whilst the building was secure, it was uncomfortable to walk around, particularly at night. This meant we caught ubers straight from the door, more than we anticipated. We thought we'd be able to walk around more. Secondly, the smell of the room was....different. It got into all our clothes and whilst at the time we didn't realise, it was really pungent afterwards when we got home. We had to get our clothes and toiletry bags, basically anything we got out of our suitcase, washed at the laundromat. It smelt a bit like marijuana unfortunately - which we did smell going in and out of the building during our stay too. It was just really obvious when we got home.
The instructions on how to enter the building were clearly laid on upon booking. It was step-by-step and made it a breeze to find the building and our room. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The building was secure with access codes for the front entrance and room. It was in a good location, close to trams and trains.

CanadaI spent two nights in the bedroom bed and was bitten several times, but after I moved to the other bed in the big room all was fine, so it is possible that there were some bed bugs. I sent this feedback to the hosts so hopefully they took some action.
Huge modern and a very comfortable place, the kitchen is fully equipped, wifi works well, central location close to downtown.

United States of AmericaOnly 1 elevator worked which caused a lot of delays entering and leaving the apartment. The valet service was stretched so there were a lot of delay waiting for the car. Initially it was difficult to work the codes to enter the building and room but after a couple of times it was easy.
I liked the design of the building. The room was spacious and clean.

AustraliaThere was no towel rail in the bathroom such that we had to hang our towels from the bed frame in order for them to dry. Also the bath mats were quite plush and were unable to effectively dry in the humid climate of Dallas when hung from the shower curtain rail. The main views were of vacant lots with quite a few homeless people however the bedrrom did have a window facing a nicer side of the city. It would have been nice to have some real sugar for the coffee as we're not keen on alternative sweetners. The UHT milk containers were too small such that even using two in a single 8 oz coffee was not enough.
Great hardwood floors and top story views (level 9) with nice big windows equipped with blinds. Spacious apartment with effective airconditioning. There was a washing machine and dryer in the apartment and the kitchen was well equipped. The location was quite convenient with only 10 to 15 minutes walk to many areas that we wanted to visit. It was exciting to have the Day of the Dead march and festival right outside our building and we had a great night. We did not feel unsafe and would happily stay here again. The included WiFi was a bonus.

New ZealandAlthough close to the city and all the attractions it was a bit daunting with a family and young boys being downtown. Missed one of the communal games areas so woulda been good to have a tour of what was available but that's minor.
The place was clean with all we needed. Everything worked. The staff and owner were super helpful and responsive at all times. The facilities were great.

United States of AmericaThe graffiti all over things inside this expensive apartment. The bent chair leg. The chair that we sat in and it fell completely apart and bruised up someone. The homeless alllllll over the street although they were kind.... for how expensive this place is with money due upfront and no refund it's a joke. It's hard to get ahold of someone. Once you do, it's okay. Our code didn't work to get in the room and it was chaos to reach someone. Once we did it was fine. I found someone to text about other issues from there.

ItalyWhat I don’t like when I book via booking.com is to carry out all check-in procedure on my side, providing all documents and make sure all pictures will fit format and size requirement. Donwload app or going to different website for payment and stuff like these.Time consuming, especially when you are doing a roundtrip and you have limited time. Too many and very long codes to enter the main door, the room and another one for swimming pool/shared spaces. Nothing worrying but to be taken in consideration
Huge apartment with 1 bedroom, one large living room with open kitchen and another bedplace close to the windows faced on the city. Consider that you will have a 100 feet corridor passing by all apartment. If you rent it alone, like me, it could be quite scaring – especially overnight. Apart from that, it’s very clean and well equipped/furnished. Valet parking available, included in the price.

United States of AmericaI did not like how you accessed the building from the street with no elevator in front, having to haul your luggage up the stairs and having bo luggage catty, and despite having signs of no smoking, there was an odor of smoke in the apartment.
The layout, ambiance, rooms, and openness of the floor plan. I liked the app and response time of the staff.
