When i checked in at 11p.m. The office was closed. Lady finally came to the door and was upset. Told me next time if i check in there is going to be a 20 dollar late fee. When she found out it was a online booking she told me 50 non refundable cash deposit. I told her i dont carry cash often and didnt have any. She said well next time bring money. All this in a upset tone of voice. I told her i always book here and the office was always open at 11 pm. With no added fees. No response.

I had to bust out my camping burner to make some coffee and my camp press. It would be nice if coffee makers were in the rooms but Margie told me they're getting them. Coffee places are all around if you need a good cup.

I love the location of this hotel. It's only about 3 mi from historic downtown Flagstaff on route 66. The rooms are exceptionally clean, the bed very comfortable and the pillows were great. The hotel is near the train tracks, but if you turn on the fan for the air conditioning unit you don't hear anything. You can back your car up right to your door and unload your luggage and gear. A laundromat is less than a mile away, and great restaurants are everywhere including the Eat and Go which makes fantastic breakfast choices. I'm usually running around and very busy so I just need a place where I can sleep comfortably. This hotel checks all the boxes especially the price point. If you get a chance, talk to the housekeeper, Margie. She is a delightful woman with wonderful stories to tell.

Nice remodel I just wish when they hang the shower curtain they would move it out some so your not constantly having the shower curtain stick to you.

The walls were too thin could here people all night ( if you know what I mean ) no coffee pot or fresh water. TV channels were very scarce. There was no shade for the bathroom window so as soon as the sun came up my eyes were open.

The location was great, the staff was Awesome, and the water was Always hot! The fridge was cold and the microwave worked. Okay accommodations for the price.

Close to train tracks with trains about every 10 minutes. They didn’t have any towel bars or hooks in the bathroom. There also wasn’t a coffee pot—which would be ok if they had a breakfast or coffee in the office, but there wasn’t any.

The place was clean and looked fairly recently painted. Staff were friendly.

The bed pillows were a little stiff

The motel is in a good location across from the university. It’s on a busy street corner so ask for a room away from the road. It is also an easy walk to downtown. Coffee maker in the room but no free breakfast. What really struck us was when we arrived the maintenance was cleaning the fronts of the air conditioner units and letting them dry out in the sun!

bed was uncomfortable, no coffee no Kleenex, no ice machine, no vending machine, toilet was so close to the wall. walls were thin and we could hear tvs from other rooms near ours.
