I have a bad knee and handicap licence plate and people park in the handicap parking spots without having a plate or placard..

Most hotels with kitchenettes don't supply dishes and utensils. I do leave on Monday and return to work. I cook a lot because going out to eat not only gets expensive but cooking affords you to have it your way. And you don't here your neighbors it's quiet and private.

The furniture throughout could stand replacing. Dirt on the floor, hair in the bathtub and the toilet needed to be cleaned better. So basically, it needs updated and cleaner.

Room was musty and always had a damp feeling in air. Wanted to extend reservation, and they had already let my room go to someone else. Should have contacted me to see if I wished to extend my stay. No hot breakfast.

The bed was uncomfortable. The mattress leaned really bad, and the hotel used old magazines to try and level off the bed but that didn't work. My fiance and I had to sleep the opposite of the headboard. Very uncomfortable.

I liked the bathroom, it was pretty spacious with a big mirror.

The place could use some better upkeep but it is the end of summer and most construction at hotels in south texas takes place during winter

I liked the kitchen and how big the room was. It was a nice place to stay for the value.

The pool area didn’t seem as maintenanced. The hot tub isn’t useable from my perception. The outside of the back building around the pool is very low maintained.

First room spelled of ammonia or cat urine very strongly. Quickly moved to another room. Overall the stay was okay. Main problem is maintenance. Seems to be none. Luggage carts were broken. Handles and wheels about to fall off. Cabinet door broken off in kitchen. Dishwasher only ran cold water, soap provided did not come out in wash cycle. Just rinsed cold water on dirty dishes. Door would not shut without turning on cycle. 2 live roaches found in kitchen area. Gross! Very unappetizing. Room phone disconnected, wire was not plugged in. Broken cord. Closet door hit the floor and did not open all the way. Moldy shower curtain. Afraid to use inside tub with small children. One of the windows had no screen. Very hazardous for a family with small children staying on the second floor! Toilet seat barely screwed on! Felt like a ride. Pool was cloudy. Spa had no running jets. Dirty water. Algae built up on the building outside. Needs to be cleaned and power washed. Dead birds and poop on the ground for days. No clean up. Breakfast bar had soggy eggs and sausage, sitting in inches of water. Fact is, my husband fixed the toilet seat and the luggage cart with a screwdriver in 2 seconds. Such easy things to fix that would make a big difference! Hire a maintained person!

Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Kids liked the TV and fold out bed. Room was big.

dirty pool and jacuzzi. the jacuzzi had dead roaches and trash floating in it. staff didn’t care much about cleaning it or the hallways.

The breakfast was decent and the room was nice considering the location.

The owners tried to double charge my card. They refused to give me the discount for 8 day reservation, which was CHEAPER than the 7 day reservation. That's correct, 8 days was cheaper than 7 days. Thus the double charge. They felt like I was getting over on them. This was the OWNERS. The 1st room, the sink was hanging by the plumbing. The 2nd room the toilet leaked around the wax seal on the floor & the toilet seat only had one bolt n it, causing it slip off the porcelain base. The place HAS the potential to be a really great place, except the owners are too cheap to do minor maintenance.

The maid service were polite. The breakfast was always good.
