The lady at the front desk was very nice. There is no one at the front desk after 4.30. Not sure how you check in after hours. We had an issue with the bathroom sink in the first room we were given and were given another, bigger room. No breakfast, just coffee on the premises. The place is a little dated and the grounds somewhat neglected (lots of weeds that need to be pulled). However, we enjoyed great food at a German restaurant within walking distance.

The location was fine for us as we only planned to spend one night. There are 3 different buildings on the property and studios available to rent for a whole month. There is a small outdoor pool that looked nice. We saw a jacuzzi close to the pool area. We were surprised to see very few guests for March. We expected to see more snow birds or families on spring break.

It could have been a little cleaner however I understand short staff, we will stay here every year as long as possible.

When I arrived on the day to check in the reservation said check-in was 3 pm but when I arrived I was told check-in was 4 pm and they could not let me check in early. I had been driving for 12 hours and was exhausted and I had two dogs in the car. We had an hour and a half to wait till check-in, so we drove down the strip and just looked around. I arrived back at the hotel at 4 and was told that there still wasn't a room available for me and I would get a call when there was. We sat in the parking lot and watched housekeeping stand around and argue. We watched 2 housekeepers leave. We waited until 530 before we were given the keys to our room. Our checkout time on our reservation was 11 am but we were informed it was 10 am. Great place but guests arriving should be a priority and rooms should be ready and times on reservation should be honored.

The property had many different areas. Plenty of things to do just on the property. I was able to bring my dogs and they barked a little too much for my liking I was worried the whole time that someone was going to say something to me, but no one ever said anything and I eventually got more comfortable. Will be back next year, just won't be bringing the dogs so I can relax more.

I didn't like that the pool closed 2 days after arriving and didn't reopen. The hot tub smelled like mold. I didn't like that the wifi quit working the same day and didn't come back on. I didn't like that the "Game Room" was a complete mess with a broken ping pong table, an air hockey table missing the puck, and a pool table missing balls. I also didn't like that check-in was at 3, but my room wasn't ready until almost 5. The dust in my room was an inch thick. My room was supposed to have a king-size bed, but it most definitely was not. The sheets on the sofa bed were stained. Still don't know what that $100 deposit was for neither.

I liked how laid back and not extremely busy it was. I like that even tho we arrived an hour before check-in, we were allowed to get our wristbands so the kids could swim. The on-site maintenance man was extremely helpful.

The room had left over food in the cabinets from the previous tenants. Water leaking from the ceiling sometimes.found a few bugs in the room. Bed was old, after awhile, you’ll be sinking into the cushion.

All sidewalks, pool deck, and crow's nest all desperately need a good power washing. Tile floor in my room needed a good mopping. Just some good hard cleaning would do wonders for everything.

Beautiful property and great location where you can walk to shopping, restaurants... everything on the strip in Fort Walton Beach with a nice park a block away. Perfect for boaters as well.

Great place to watch the fireworks for the 4th of July! Within walking distance to coffee, bars and donuts!

There were baby roaches in the room and apparently a permanent resident next to us. The resident wasn't the problem but the roaches came from her side. Also the carpet smelled funny had to buy deodorizer for the room

We booked 2 suites. My suite was fine. You could tell it was a little old, but it was well cared for & pleasant. My son's suite was unusable. There was water leaking from the fridge across the floor, mold on the couch & gnats everywhere.

We had to take luggage up two floors . no elevator . At 80 an 72 it was hard . Husband has lung cancer made it difficult . Was not told we would have to do this .

Would have liked to see house keeping once in a while to provide fresh towels and TP besides doing down to the front office. Bed was a little too soft.

Location was great easy access to everything in the area. View of the bay was awesome. Staff was friendly. Great kitchenette. WIFI and TV was good. Property has many amenities to use and enjoy. I was here for ten days not a five star place but it's a great laid back place that meets the basic needs. Fishing off the pier was fun with birdwatching, looking at boats and jet skiers going by. Easy three minute drive over the bridge to public access to the beach.

Surfaces of furniture were sticky, there was a lone roach that crawled into the nightstand. We wiped the best we could with Clorox wipes but that didn’t help on some surfaces still :/ Either there wasn’t a breakfast to be had, or we weren’t told. Would have been nice to have some food upon waking that wasn’t snacks. TV remote also didn’t work even when we changed batteries for some new ones we bought.

The bed was super comfortable! We slept like rocks! :)
