Only complaint I have is that the shower curtain was covered ,all along the bottom with hair n grime,,I removed the curtain, and cleaned the tub,we like to take a bath.

We love our stay here every time, the staff us helpful and friendly.

We stay at mariners cove everytime we go to westport and we're always happy with our stay.. but this last time it wasn't quite up to par for us.. it doesn't mean we won't be back .. but let's just say they could use some imorovements

We like that we can cook our fresh catch right there on the property

Mariners Cove Inn was exactly what we were expecting when we booked. The beds were very very comfortable and it was incredibly quiet there at night, which was so appreciated. The coffee maker in the room was perfect

The location isn't very walkable to Westport activities. Only one restaurant (bar) nearby.

In town for work. The hotel was fine. The room was clean, and the mattress was comfortable. The water was nice and hot, and the towels were soft. The entire complex was very quiet. It's a short walk to a nice local pub that had good food and entertainment. The motel management staff was friendly and helpful.

Didn’t have the breakfast. The only problem was the slow to warm heater. The staff was most accommodating and the location perfect. It looks like the new management is working hard to upgrade. Will return.

Somewhat dated, needed some TLC and basic upkeep. Room was cold when we arrived but warmed up after we turned up the heat. Bathroom stayed cold, especially the floor.

Cute little motel. Room was good sized, bed was comfortable. Was impressed that the fridge had a separate freezer. Keurig with coffee and tea in the room. Soft drinks and snacks available for free in the office. Desk agent was very friendly and kept in contact about our arrival time.

The front room window didn’t have a full drape coverage or blinds for privacy. Would recommend that addition.

The room we were given (#8) had been updated and was impeccably clean. Check in and other interactions were always friendly and helpful. The bed was excellent!

No complaints. A suggestion would be a 12pm checkout time but that is just because I like to sleep in.

Complimentary sodas and snacks! That was a surprise. The room was clean and comfortable, especially the bed. Most comfortable bed at a hotel I’ve stayed at in years.

The owner is awesome. This is a basic motel, but it is extremely well managed. It's also pretty close to both the beach and Westport.

The door to the bathroom would stick and hardly close so that every time someone got up at night, it made a loud noise waking everyone. If you're sensitive to light, be sure to bring a good sleep mask because the window coverings didn't block out the light and the bathroom window didn't have any covering at all. If you're looking for a sleep mask that actually blocks out ALL light, I recently bought this one and highly recommend it. All the employees we met were friendly and helpful, the beds were super comfortable, and there was a small mini fridge in our room with a separate freezer that froze our blue ice blocks rock solid, unlike most mini fridges with a small compartment within the refrigerator. They provided a pedestal fan which kept the room cool and provided white noise. Mariner's Cove is a great option if you're looking for a clean, comfy, reasonably priced, pet-friendly place to stay.

A basic, tinny-speakered TV with a dizzying array of buttons to press on the remote, that's it, that's all. Who needs the tele when on holidays anyway?!

A pleasant place with large, tidy rooms with comfortable beds/good linen, quiet A/C, ample receptacles for this modern recharging world, good blinds to block outside light, parking right out your door, an outdoor gazebo with BBQing facilities, a clean bathroom with great water pressure, and an easy walk to a local watering hole with a decent, basic menu. Otherwise, the "downtown" is about 3/4 of a mile away so you drive, or you walk. The reception desk lady was helpful, friendly, funny, offered up choices for dining and entertainment, and made us all laugh and feel welcome.
