Blood stains on the pillow, hair and stains all over the sheets, booger smeared all over the headboard, tables were still dirty, hair on the toilet, cracked tub, broken light between the beds. It smelled like weed all throughout the hotel. I mean it's not that surprising, considering illinois is a legal state and the dispensary is right next to the hotel. I would suggest going to a hotel that is completely non smoking if you don't want to smell it. Went down to the front desk to get a different room, like I would willing stay in a room that disgusting. Front desk staff asked if I wanted a refund instead. At that point I was over it, so I accepted the refund and left to a better hotel.

We were checked into a dirty room that staff had been living in prior to our stay. Front desk staff corrected the problem, but our new room was also dirty. The headboards had grese on them from other people leaving their heads against them and the tables in the room were disgusting. One had some sticky substance on it.

The remotes did not work, (no battery covers on them)some how I got the TV to come on still don't know how that happen, but then they would not turn off or change channels, so infomercials were the only thing to watch had to unplug to turn off. Drawers were missing in the dresser, it's in great need of updating, the smell in the hallway was unexplainable, the phone to the front desk did not wrk although at 2AM my phone rang in the room to wake us up, not that we got much sleep from all the door slamming throughout the night!! no coffee pot in the room. In definite need of a new toilet seat as well. I gave the "staff" a good review because he was nice to me, although I never saw him again, there is a permanent sign at the front desk that says "be back in 5 min". The place needs work vacuum for craps sake!!! I did not take a picture of the outside but i must say the best part of this motel is the outside. Never again ..bye bye Motel 6. P.S. Not even a Bible in the drawer, isn't that standard!?

NOTHING was clean. Toilet over flowed when flushed with nothing in it. No toiletries. Stains and smoke residue everywhere when was supposed to be a non smoking facility. Very nasty.

Stayed because other plans fell through at the last minute. There was only one battery in the TV remote, the top dresser drawer was missing, the fan in the bathroom was dusty. The bedding sheets appeared clean but the bed covers were old and not in good shape. There were screws in the walls for art work but nothing was hanging. Thankfully I saw no bugs and the hotel didn’t smell but it’s honestly a bit of a dump.

The front desk guy was rude and acted like we were bothering him. He seems to be there all the time because when I came back the next morning to get receipt of my money being returned he was there again. He was very short with me and acting like I was bothering him again as he kept slamming things and just tossed my receipt at me and stormed off.

Ended up not staying because the room we were assigned smelled heavily of cigarettes. The man at the desk said he had no other rooms.

There was someone at the front desk when I checked in and checked out. Otherwise, there was never anyone there, just a sign saying they'd be back in 15 minutes. The television in my room did not work. Was unable to report it until I checked out and somebody was finally at the front desk. I had even tried calling the hotel's number but no answer. Vending machine was broken. Soap scrum on the shower wall. The first night kids were running up and down the hallway and making noise after 10:30 p.m. and the second night adults were talking loudly in the hallway at approx. 3:30 a.m. Again, no one to report it to. Phone in the room did not work either.

No breakfast. Location was convenient.

The water in the sink and shower was scalding hot. We were unable to shower. The sink in the room was not hooked up. Most of the furniture was broken. We only had two very thin pillows and was unable to contact the front desk because the phone had been out all day!! We tried to call them multiple times to let them know we would be later than we thought but could never get through.

It was dirty and rub down. I couldn’t fall asleep until 2 AM because someone was always slamming doors and playing a TV loudly. The towels had holes in them and were all stained. The floor was dirty and there was gunk all over things.

I liked the location and although the attendant was sleeping when we arrived, he was nice.

The TV remote did not work satisfactorily. The on/off button didn't work and the volume control and mute did not work. No coffee or breakfast provided. The check-in was slow due to computer issues. I was not given a receipt when checking out as the printer was broken.

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The property was clean and there were plenty of grassy areas to exercise my dog. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating.

I'm not sure if things were different because of covid but the only time there was someone at the counter is when we checked in after that no where to be found. There was no phone in the room, the refrigerator was not clean, there was an iron but no ironing board.
