The shower didn't drain properly. The Couch was not good for seating and it was shabby. we used it for luggage. You should remove it and replace it with either a sm table and 2 chairs or 2 comfortable chairs.

It was a handicapped room the toilet was too low and the bed too high. The noise from other rooms could be heard. When they walked across the room upstairs it vibrated.

Unfortunately, the room was dirty. The floors in particular as well as the toilet and the shower. Light fixtures were full of dust. The renovations were cheap. FRP was used as the the wrap for the bed platform…FRP is used for gas station bathroom walls. It’s cheap and waterproof. The room had no charm or warmth to it. The tile floor was absolutely filthy. The coffee machine was a nice touch, but it did not work..just dirty water brewed out of it. A new machine would do the trick. The “free” parking was a great perk. We would not stay here again based on the uncleanliness of the room as well as the room just not feeling inviting. It’s a shame because the location was great and the motel really has a lot of potential. It had a beautiful view of the harbor. A good interior designer could really help bring this motel around to a great spot.

This property was so convenient! It was within walking distance of everything.

This is a 2 star hotel with a 4 star pricing. I guess due to its location. The room was small and the cleanliness fell short of our expectation. There was yellowish stuff around our bed. I had to wipe it down. The mattress was hard and old so it made noises when there is any kind of movement.

The hairdryer died while using it but the desk clerk got us a new one immediately. We found food in the fridge from the previous guest and trash on the floor when we checked in.

Water in shower never got warmer than lukewarm so I could not use the exhaust fan because it created too much of a breeze, making it even colder. I was actually dreading using the shower on our second day. The mood lighting in the shower started to blink after a few minutes creating a strobe effect. The curtains allow way too much light in at the edges because they do not curve. Air conditioner efficient but very loud, even on the low setting, making watching TV difficult. Its great to provide a hair dryer but the cord is not long enough to use in front of the mirror, plus you have to continully push the on button to keep it running. No artwork on walls creating a bit of a grim ambiance. I'm glad I always travel with ear plugs and a sleeping mask. Due to the shower temp, I could not stay here again more than 1 night.

Location is excellent. Parking safe and secure.Bed was very comfortable. Towels soft and fluffy. Mini fridge actually worked and had an ample freezer too. Lighting at sink very good. Loved the toiletries and the wall mounts for them.

For our 2 night stay, we had a room with a king size bed compared to the queen room our last stay.. the mattress was extremely hard. Wishing it could be a tad bit softer.. left us a bit sore the next morning.

The bathroom area was pretty tiny and the tv remote was very sticky. There were no real amenities at the place, but we did know that going in. The beds were also really stiff and loud- every time one of us moved, there was worry for waking the room up.

The location was excellent to attend Night of Lights. Also we loved no parking fees as well as lots of visitor information in the lobby. It was also nice to have 3 queen sized beds for ourselves and 3 kiddos.

This older (I'd guess shortly post-WWII) motel is perfectly located for exploring St. Augustine. It has been beautifully updated in the past few years, and on-site parking is a great convenience in crowed St. Augustine.

Our only complaint was how uncomfortable the bed was. Like sleeping on a carpeted concrete floor.

Great location! Easily walk to old town. Conveniently right next to trolley tours. Free parking is a huge plus also. Staff was friendly and super helpful with any questions
