The superb central location make this motel worth considering, especially as you can park your car here. Our room was big and the bedding was clean. The shower was good, with plenty of hot water. For a one night stopover, we had an acceptable night's stay. The beds are not the best. I wasn't uncomfortable but the beds do creak at every turn. The a/c works well but it's also quite loud. Look - it's not luxury but it isn't pretending to be. PS - We had no problem driving to hotel or parking our car - if you are from UK, don't be put off by the messages about the tiny streets and car park spaces - they are what we are used to.

Not enough parking spaces was told 29 rooms 27 parking spaces so last persons in always had to pay for parking on the street.

We didn’t like some of the things about the room. The toilet seat was loose, the faucet was loose, and the room had a smell of smoke. The smell was stronger when we first entered the room.

We liked the location. It is close to everything we like to do when we visit.

The loud air conditioner could be replaced for a quieter model. It would allow for better sleep. The window curtains could fit better for blocking out all the lights.

Excellent location. Lovely view from our second-floor porch/balcony, complete with comfy chairs. We especially enjoyed watching the sunrise from our perch. Nice reclining chairs in room. Very comfortable and clean.

Nothing not to like! Heads-ups: Parking is tight, but they make it work - avoid bringing a bigger truck or SUV if you can. Also, there isn't much "convenience" shopping in the immediate area, so stop for snacks, bottled water, wine, etc. before you get there.

The room was beautifully updated, and nicely appointed w/good Keurig coffee service (w/real 1/2&1/2!), cute towels, and soap and shampoo wall pumps in the bathroom. AC worked great, as did blackout curtains for AM sun. Sundeck was cute and comfortable with awesome viewing of the marina. The pool was nice (wonderful after a hot day walking around), and comfortable patio chairs and table right outside the room were perfect for an afternoon break. Our beds and pillows were very comfortable, and we found enough outlets for chargers, although an exension cord might be helpful if you have a laptop or kids handhelds. Good sized mini-frig and a mini-micro, both were perfect. The view was spectacular, and location perfect for walking around and dining in the historic section. Definitely enough room for us with 2 adults and a teen-ager, and a good value for what we needed. Free parking was much appreciated! We will definitely be back (c:
