Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe place is very family-oriented would have been nice to know ahead of time. Can get noisy and crowded. The price feels high for the quality.

CanadaStarting to show its age. Hassle trying to get a spot around the pool. Noisy fitness classes in the pool all morning. Gym was crazy busy in the morning. Noisy room if you get one that had adjoining door and inconsiderate neighbors.
Situated in one of the four coves. Beautiful location. Efficient staff. Cabanas on the beach are excellent albeit expensive.

United States of AmericaPool work in the morning was a bit noisy, however we were told about it prior to arrival. Went to the timeshare presentation-had a bad experience with Jackie. She made us feel foolish about what we had spent for our stay. Hard to forget her words and how she made us feel.
Beautiful. Even though it was large everything was easily accessible. Our room was beautiful, kitchen was wonderful, very quiet. Maid service, valet were very courteous, helpful.

United States of AmericaNothing. It was fantastic!
The suite was spacious. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with a variety of cookware, serving plates and utensils. The washer dryer was very convenient. The hotel provided detergent and dishwashing soap, etc. - all the amenities. Staff always had a smile on their face. The beach was very tranquil. The landscaping was beautiful. We would highly recommend this hotel to our family and friends.

United States of Americahousekeeping - from the first day I saw a melted soap in the bath rack. It was not cleaned until a day before my departure. There was no body wash bottle on the wall that was supposed to be next to the shampoo and conditioner. It was added again a day before the departure. My understanding was that one housekeeper was actually doing their job and taking care of the room. Only in that one day I would say I got the service that would be normal for a hotel service after paying so much money for a day. I basically got a soap bar on my own to use for bath. I did not even bother to tell the management about it because if it was done properly these issues for cleanness and care would not have been there in the first place. When they provided a soap bar for washing hands it was only twice during my 7 day stay. In my practice hotels replaced it daily other than waiting for the melted small bar to dissolve until the very last drop in your hands. Other than this the rest was good. I don’t want to put a bad impression for the rest. Vilas are well set and comfortable.

United States of AmericaI wished they had offered breakfast options. Unless you want to go to the market and get a Starbuck's breakfast (to go) or make a reservation for the fancier restaurant's buffet, there is not a breakfast option. There is no room service nor a typical breakfast option. Also, our room's key card reader didn't have a battery so we had to wait after a VERY long day of travel for their staff to come and fix it before we could enter our room.
The property itself and the staff are fantastic. The property is right on the lagoon and is perfect for swimming safely with kids. The grounds are well maintained and gorgeous. The 1 bedroom villa we had was spacious and well appointed. Our two kids under 10 slept comfortably on the pull-out couch. Also, they offer many activities on the grounds and have multiple pools and hot tubs.
