Paying for parking was unfortunate and could have been included in the room rate.

Nice sized room, very good location (short walk to the pier and to the wharf and State St). Our room had a stocked bar with beverages and snacks. There were snacks (cookies), coffee and tea in the lobby 24/7. Beds were comfortable, nice sheets/towels.

The air conditioner in the room is quite loud but not enough to keep you awake. Nothing else!

Beautiful setting in typical Santa Barbara style, radiating the vibe of the American riviera. The room was very clean and comfortable, the pool unusually well kept and simply beautiful with the surrounding patio, terracotta tiles, and all those lovely palm trees. Breakfast is not provided, but there is a corner with free coffee, cookies and other snack items that made for a great replacement. The location is great: just a few minutes walk to the beach, and a 10min stroll to state street. Would definitely come again.

The only real downside is that they do not serve breakfast - we had to figure out breakfast somewhere every day and this gets expensive and the cafes around are often busy, with waiting lines outside. The interiors of the room are very basic and they don't have a nice view (you either look onto other buildings or the parking lot). But the overall positive experience outweighs these cons for us.

We loved our stay here! The location was great, close to the beach as well as State Street, the main shopping street of Santa Barbara. The staff is super friendly and welcoming and the lobby had the most amazing freshly baked cookies available for free every day, with coffee or tea. I loved the building, surrounded by palmtrees and spacious parking. Nice pool and hot tub to relax . The beds were enormous and rooms clean and comfortable. We loved it here and would definitely come back!

High Class hotel with a throw back feel. The staff is 2nd to none. Housekeeping staff is the best I have encountered anywhere. Amenities and service make me want to come back. The location is ideal for a pleasant stay in Santa Barbara.

There were not any views of the beach, however you can walk to the beach within minutes so I didn’t mind.

I checked in with my family for only one night yesterday. We are doing a roadtrip, staying in many hotels along the coast, and this was the best hotel we stayed in. The place is so charming, clean, beautifully decorated and it smells really good. The rooms are not small and very functional. The shower was amazing. But I think the cherry on the top is the customer service. Martha, the evening front desk person when we checked in, was so friendly, respectful and nice! Plus, we got a completely drink when we arrived. The staff when we checked out was also so great, but I forgot to get their names. Overall great experience, I will be coming back but to spend more nights next time
