The carpet in the living room looked worn out and dirty

Excellent location in South Kihei. Has many restaurants close by within a mile. The property offers free parking. The staff was excellent and went above and beyond to help us. The studio itself had a kitchenette, but didn't have a fully functional kitchen.

We were placed in a two room suite with strangers in the second room. They were noisy into the evening, and the room was not well insulated for sound. We found the door unlocked from our side!

Mattress needs upgraded

Great location good parking. Linens are wonderful! Only suggestion would be upgrade the mattress. Springs dug in our backs. Even a mattress topper could help. Everything else was perfect! 9 out of 10

The neighbor next door was so loud. I've never heard someone eat food that loud, clanking dishes, scraping food, mixing food...it was loud and late at night. They were a loud individual in general .

The location was great, very short walk to the beach and shops. 10min walk to a great coffee shop. Great price for location in Maui. The air conditioner in the room was wonderful. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was not cozy and felt thin.

The pool closed at 10 but overall nothing really negative.

For six days of stay, there was only coffee and tea bags for one day. To get room service, one has to make a call to service company between 8 and 5. Front desk will not help on that.

Good location. Had a small kitchen with almost all utensils, such as plates, toaster oven, grinder etc. for daily use. Microwave, small fridge and coffee maker.

Asked for higher floor and received ground floor. No staff. One nice lady giving the keys and that is it. There is complicated procedure to talk to the owner of that specific room which we did not used.. front desk cannot help in anything, even in coffee filters, or changing room. Very small kitchnett, no outside seating

There were quite a few bugs in the room, probably from outside. But we killed a couple small cockroaches and spiders.

Overall a good location and comfortable. Has a kitchenette for cutting all your Maui fruit :)

A Keurig coffee maker would have been nice and for sure, the owner needs to supply a couple of beach chairs a. First unit I’ve ever stayed at that did not.

There were at least 4 baby cockroaches in the kitchen area, which we had to get rid of ourselves.

The Maui Banyan Vacation Club is located directly across from the beautiful Kam II beach, withing walking distance to shops and restaurants, other beaches, and close to the Piilani Highway. The room was bright, airy, comfortable, clean, and well maintained. Although the room faced a parking lot, the trees and plants kept it hidden and it was quiet. It has two swimming pools and a lovely garden setting. Considering the cost of accommodations in Maui, this exceeded expectations.

The shower door was filthy. There was a huge leak from the wall behind the bed and we told the receptionist and she said to call the agency. Called once, no answer.

The property is beautiful. The location is fabulous! The pool and jacuzzi were great and very clean!

The roach issue never got resolved. I noticed roaches the first night - called them to report it the second day and they had someone come out to spray another 2 days later. I had 1 day with no roaches. Heard the neighbors trying to kill them, too, after 10pm... (lots of shouting and banging). Eventually, the roaches got worse and I was moved to another unit for my last night of a 10 night stay. I also found a small roach in that unit... don't know if it came with me, or what. They said they would refund my hotel fees and my last night's stay - hasn't happened yet. No dishwasher which I thought it would have, as stated in the booking info I received. Needs blackout curtains instead of bamboo kind of see-through curtains now in the room. Very noisy hallway with doors slamming at all hours. Does not have the kind of doors that can close quietly. Doors do not seal well - lots of light and air gaps all the way around. Microwaves in both units need to be replaced as the doors were warped/damaged along the bottom edge. TV in the studio never worked. Lost internet network for a couple of days - didn't report it, just used another unit's WiFi.

Great location right across from the beach/ocean and super close to great food options and shopping. I frequently walked for food, shopping, and beach/park fun. Great landscaping. Friendly staff. Loved the quiet A/C unit. Two swimming pools and two jacuzzis in the back away from all traffic. The jacuzzis are smallish, but everyone was good about taking turns. Very clean grounds and rooms. Not overly scented with air-fresheners. Very lovely walkway along the backside of all of the buildings away from traffic. Spacious shower in the studio and very bright lights over the sink space. Large paddle overhead fan with 4 speeds combined with the open sliding door really cleared the air when I didn't want the A/C turned on.

- Reception is 9 am - 9 pm, if you need anything at night there is no one - Rooms are a bit dated, some of the furniture can get a refresh and use renovation - Front parking was always full so we had to park in the far parking lot every night

- Rooms were supplied with lots of towels, toiletries & equipment that would last you a week that I liked. Didn't need to ask for refills or extra towels etc. - Powerful hairdryer that was important for me - Huge room with full kitchen all the dishes, tools & everything you need and more - Everything was working properly & clean. Room was big with lots of space and comfortable. - Very central location, close to the beach

fan in the washroom keeps running can’t be turned off. but after shutting the washroom door and bedroom door, there is no sound at night. the function of the tv remote is complicated. try to turn on the bedroom tv but failed. not good human machine interaction.

it has everything, the entire kitchen has everything, it looks like an apartment. very close to parking. good location, close to restaurants and stores. pity it’s just a two night stay.
