Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The construction outside was pretty loud. We definitely couldn’t really relax at the pool because it was so loud. Other thing is I wish you had room service!
Loved our room and the location was close enough to the beach that we could walk down. Loved the fact that you can borrow bikes to ride around.

The constant overshadowing construction noise, with no info that there was going to be loud noise in the period we booked. Made it hard to sleep and hard to relax at the pool.

The only negative was the noise from the construction of new hotel building next to the pool.
Room was spatious, clean, well equipped. Cleaning service was perfect, all personnel was kind and helpful. We enjoyed the pool and the restaurant. Overall we liked it a lot.

Like everything else in Maui, very expensive after taxes and resort fees added in.. but what can you do - it's Maui
Close to the beach and area eateries. Room and hotel were very clean. Room had fridge and microwave along with tiny garden patio (ground floor). Pool easy to access.

The pool and pool bar is rather small.
More of a business style hotel, back from the Main Road. We arrived a bit early however staff was accommodating and checked us in. There is a restaurant in front of the Hotel and a restaurant cluster about 15 mins walking distance from the Hotel.

Room is slightly outdated, especially the bathroom, ceiling needed painting. Our room was located close to a large outdoor HVAC unit, so was quite loud if we went on the balcony. Overall it was quite expensive and we expected a bit more for the price. EV charging in the parking lot would be a good upgrade.
Nice pool, good location, friendly staff. On site restaurant and gym were great.

The room has become a bit outdated but was very clean and smelled nice.

Construction next door. After we were there a while we were told we had to start wearing wrist bands.
It was nice to have a restaurant on site if we didn't feel like going out. Hot tubs were nice,but extremely hot.

It’s distant from major attractions, requiring car rental or shuttle rental to access them.

The rooms are nice but slightly outdated. If you normally charge with USB cables then bring plug adapters because there are no USB outlets to be found. Also there was some strange staining in the tub that seemed to be permanent. Wasn’t really dirty but the staining was unsightly.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool and pool area was very clean and the garden around the pool is beautiful. It’s a very short walk across the street to the beach and also a short walk to the ABC store, shops, and restaurants.

Due to Covid, my husband really missed the bar and service at the pool....his favorite thing is to enjoy the pool with the help of a nice pina colada.
This was our third stay here, we really love the location, the amenities and the staff. We will be back

We couldn’t get a tour that could pick us from this hotel (e.g Road to Hana or the Haleakala sunrise tour). We had to use Uber to arrive to the pick up locations.
The location was great, nearby good restaurants and clean beaches. The staff was super responsive and attentive.

Warm and wonderful front desk staff. Beautiful and well maintained grounds. Immaculate cleanliness in rooms and grounds! Very impressive gym! Proximity to snorkeling activities was ideal!

the building is very old and for the price you would expect something nice. At best it would be a 2 star hotel. completely surprised and disappointed by the age and lack of luxury for nightly price. Definitely expected more. Was embarrassed for price i paid.
There was nothing to like except the staff was friendly. But you would expect people to be nice at their job. Nothing over the top. Just average at best.
