Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaSmall rooms, but it was built in 1926, so it is what it is.
Very hip boutique hotel with authentic original artwork and a great vibe. The staff was excellent, kind, helpful, and accommodating. The location was great, in easy walking distance to the light rail, streetcar, and Monorail at Westlake Center. Straight walk to Pike Place Market up Stewart Street. Free coffee in the morning and free local beer happy hour. Nice toiletries and amenities in the room. Comfortable beds!

United States of AmericaBuilt a long time ago and updated to try and fit 2024. The room we had was a bit tight for us and we are smaller in stature. Bathroom was updated but tight. Fine for us but might be small for others.
Loved the location and staff including valet. This hotel is located walking distance to all things you would want to see in Seattle. So helpful understanding and professional while being warm and friendly. Beds were very comfortable. Very very clean. Hotel is definitely charming boutique.

CanadaThey don’t have a parking 🅿️ she said you can park across the road 🤕in downtown of Seattle we’re buses goin and bicycles. I paid for three day parking $136US that’s almost $200Can. They suppose don’t say have parking lot. Room so tiny , I barely fit in shaver cabin. Wifi was shot down in 7 a.m. early morning before checking out it so cheap.
Location , nobody bit down them. 15 min. walk any direction I need.

United KingdomThe room aesthetic did not match that of the corridor and foyer; had to pay for in-room bottled water; windows were locked shut; and the view was awful, just HVAC pipework
Very efficient check-in with lots of optional add-ons; friendly staff; and free beer during happy hour!

United States of AmericaThere are two ladies working at the reception who were unfriendly with everyone. They treated the doorman, who is originally from Ethiopia, very poorly—yelling at him and treating him as if he were of a lower class. Despite having lived in the US across various states for over 15 years, this is the first time I've witnessed such disrespectful treatment of others. It's truly disheartening, especially since the manager was on vacation. The receptionists treated guests as if they hadn't paid for their stay! .. Their behavior was not just annoying; it was downright unacceptable and left a lasting negative impression.
Location, location, location! I love it because it's close to everything you need. Plus, they offer complimentary bikes for guests to use during their stay, and the lobby is really nice.

United States of AmericaIn-room coffee would have been nice. Also, my room had very little space surrounding the bed - felt a little crammed. And lights for the bathroom were outside of the bathroom (tricky to remember in the middle of the night).
