The check in staff are friendly and informative. The included perk of continental breakfast with oatmeal and fruit option was nice to have prior to our sightseeing adventures. We took bottled waters to our room every night from the fridge in the kitchen. (it was included in the room rate) Parking on the street adjacent to the property felt safe and it was free. (we could see our car from our room above) The room is small however the layout and storage was designed for maximum efficiency. I was impressed!!! There is a grocery store with strip mall across the street where you can purchase lunch/snack items so you won’t starve while waiting on the road in LA traffic. (I believe there was also a Target store in that mall) The guests we met while staying at Mayumi were low key chill type souls. We enjoyed their company and spontaneous conversation while sitting around the breakfast counter. We could not sit outdoors in the tranquil courtyard as it was raining and cold during our stay. We shall definitely return to Mayumi if LA is on our list of destinations anytime soon.

The room is really small. Although for me it was mentioned "breakfast included", there were just a few muffins available which I do not think is appropriate for term "breakfast included".

I didn’t find a coffee maker or even a bottle of water or a kettle in the room. To make yourself tea or coffee, you need to go downstairs to the kitchen. this is not very convenient when you arrive late with a child and cannot leave him alone in the room.

the hotel is small but very cozy. The rooms are small, but everything is done so organically and thoughtfully that you feel comfortable. The hotel has a beautiful area with swings, palm trees and places to relax. It was very nice to make breakfast and sit outside admiring the views around

If I need to point out something, then the rooms are small, but could have been planned a little bigger. On the other hand the courtyard is very spacious and the walkway to the rooms quite wide. They could have allocated some of this space for bigger rooms during planning phase.

Overall very pleasant stay. Very clean, comfortable room. Nice shower. AC, Lights and window shades are controlled from one touchpanel, which was a nice feature. Cute courtyard. I would stay again.

I think the breakfast could offer some salty options. The Internet sort of comes and goes. Otherwise, everything is perfect.

Mayumi has become my fave hotel in LA. It a cozy boutique hotel that is well located.

Mayumi is well located - in less than 3 minutes you can walk to a bus station where you can start exploring the city of LA. Venice Beach is quite close to the hotel and it’s a ‘must-see place’ to visit. Breakfast is above average with fresh pastries. The room was cleaned and comfy.

Continental breakfast is a good breakfast but it is not continental.

Great rooms (quite small but very well arranged), welcoming staff and good location in Culver City. Would definitely come back there if visiting LA again.
