Fantastic location near The Strand, restaurants and activities. Beautiful historic building, very well planned and renovated. Top notch esthetically pleasing layouts and finishes. I visited 3 rooms where friends were staying and all were consistent in comfort and quality.

wasn't any hot water the night I checked in, but for next morning shower, plenty of hot water.

the room was clean and large with tall ceilings. the stove and washer/dryer looked new/modern. very comfortable bed. located one block from the Strand.

The property was absolutely pristine. The location to the Galveston Strand was perfect. This old building had been renovated and redone with such detail to saving the integrity of the beauty of the old architecture, with all the modern amenities. Loved it!!!

The apartment was clean, cozy and comfortable. It was fully stocked with everything we needed and we'd recommend this apartment for one night or several. The hosts we're nice, communicative and easy to deal with. Definitely a place we'd return to when we're in the area again.

Slight noise from neighbors. A/C - Heat unit seemed weak. Ceiling fan in bed area would be nice.

Location was just Awesome. Loved the old exposed pipes and brick. Plenty of storage and everything you would need for the kitchen use.

We liked everything.

Location is excellent for all things Strand. Very walkable, restaurants, shops, nightlife. Extremely clean and well appointed. Parking was not an issue for us as we parked around the corner and were up early every morning, but this was in November and not what I consider peak season. Will definitely stay again!!

The fact that I went through Booking.com and probably paid more than if I had known I could have booked on the website. I was there Wed. through Sat morning, so, it was quiet until Friday night. It's not real quiet when others are there.

Everything except for the parking situation. That was expensive. And yes, I know there was free parking 6 blocks away. I wanted my car close.

Free parking was very limited and paid parking very expensive. You could hear people walking around in the apartment above. Could have used a real desk.

Apartment was very nice, good furniture, cool little garden out back. Complete set of appliances, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and clothes dryer. Excellent, right in the middle of town. So many things within easy walking distance (including some great restaurant.) Air-conditioning worked extremely well, keeping the apartment cool even as the temperatures were very hot.

There wasn’t a fan in the bedroom.

The location was great! I loved the modern/vintage look of everything. It truly showed the beauty of the history of the island. The entire apartment was beautifully furnished. My favorite was the bed…I honestly loved that bed more than my own!!!

I did not like the fact that parking is an issue and there is only one handicap parking spot dedicated to this area. This was not listed in the booking description. I also thought it was strange to not have simple items in the kitchen like salt and pepper.

The high bathtub and the stairs leading up to the apartment. No handhold in the bathtub/shower. The unit is not handicap accessible. With that said, I would stay here again and again.

The apartment was generally clean, but if you’re going to charge a cleaning fee, please ensure that the floors are swept and mopped and the rug is vacuumed. I used the swiffer to quickly clean up our sand from the beach, and the swiffer pad was filthy with much more than sand when I finished. The rug in the living room was dirty overall.

Perfect location, as everything we wanted to do was within a 10 minute drive. Easy access into the building and apartment. Loved the spacious layout and exposed brick. Comfortable bed. Huge bath tub.

We were there on the weekend (friday and sat night). the street noise, people leaving late / bars etc in downtown.

The apt was perfect inside. and made me feel like i was in an apt in new york! it was spotless. beds were comfy. Just really loved the place and the location for our purposes.
