I loved the location. I loved the cabin. Plenty of towels and blankets.

We go to this place for a float trip every year and this year we decided to stay. The origional cabin we booked the AC was out so they moved us to a bigger cabin, The owner was very nice. It seems like they are trying to get the resort improved and I want to support that. Dont expect this to be your dream vacation. It was a cabin.

It was a busy holiday weekend, and we expected crowds, but we didn't expect the loud music, fighting and partying that went on very late each night. The property has several rental cabins & a camping area. The first night the large group in a cabin near us we drunk, vomiting and loud until about 4 am. The "cabin" was really run down. We could see daylight in several areas such as around the air conditioner & under the bathroom sink. The shower surround was cracked and you could see the moldy wall behind it. The deck was a great place to hang out. Bottom line, we had a good time on our trip but we would likely choose a different property in the future. We cut our trip a day short because we barely got any sleep.

Proximity to the Meramec State Park, Onondaga Cave State Park and its right on the Meramec river. It was a great spot to use as base while we explored the area. We had a little campfire each night which we really enjoyed. We enjoyed the outdoor area and had fun exploring the river.

I wish we Would have known that our cabin had another unit in the same building. There were 3 other units very close to us. We will stay here again but will make sure to ask the staff for an solo individual cabin for our group.

The staff and float trip were amazing! The cabin was small but worked.

This place is so run down it is ridiculous. It was so bad that we chose to drive 3 hours home after floating 6 miles. Would not recommend.

It was dirty inside and out. The sign for the cabin name was almost black when it was a white paper. The walls were half painted. It affected my allergies really bad. There must have been mold. The furniture was dirty. The price was too high for the quality.

The “shack” was a glorified camper you could see daylight out of nook’s and cracks the lamp didn’t work tv wouldn’t work mini fridge didn’t work the bathroom was filthy and a huge spider crawled over my foot as I went to get into the shower. We payed $300 and We stayed one of the two nights we booked and they refused to reimburse us for the second. I would never stay there again.

The first night hot water to our shower in the cabin was great but after more people occupied the neighborhooding cabins hot water was hard to find. Not sure if they were connected to same hot water heater but it seemed like it

The ladies that staffed the office were super nice and friendly. The river was beautiful and the grass was well cut. Close to town and overall a enjoyable place to camp or cabin stay

Luckily we had our own bathroom in our cabin but after checking out and having to use the campground bathroom it was scheduled to where men and women were only allowed to use it only at certain times

Staff was soooo nice and did whatever they could to help us out in regard to making us have the best experience! Cabin was spacious and clean and we had our own driveway space to park

There was not enough utensils and pans. Everything else was great. Unfortunately, the upstairs bathroom was not working.

The “cabins” were actually trailers with skirts around them. Our family booked 3 of 4 in that area. Fire damage on back of one of the units. So outdated. Not enough outlets to even accommodate the small refrigerator, tiny microwave, dirty coffee pot…that were all stacked on top of each other. Zero countertop space. Molded coffee grounds in the coffee maker. Toilets unlevel.. Grounds maintenance was not good…overgrown in most places.
