Someone above me was stomping and banging past 10pm. I get up early for work, so it kept me awake. I also did not like having to wait for someone to check me in/out. Previous facilities I stay in have an app where you can check in and out and receive an electronic key. As a travel nurse it make it easier. A co-worker was late to work his 1st shift because he had to wait for someone to check him out.

Close to the hospital, staff were friendly.

We liked everything but just a little too noisy. Route one and the traffic are right by the hotel. Hence the 9. Otherwise, it would be a 10. A few trees in the area would also be a plus. For the look overall.

We could hear some road noise when trying to sleep but it quieted in the late night.

Fantastic new hotel with great amenities and conveniently located to Delaware beaches. Will be planning to stay here for all our future beach trips!

Rooms on the bottom floor have no privacy when the curtains are open, as the parking spots pull right up to the windows, and there is a Royal Farms close to one side of the hotel. The towels are low quality and scratchy. No closets, if that matters to you. Not much of a breakfast if you are comparing this to the nearby Hampton Inn option. While there is a pool, it is right next to the road that leads to the Royal Farms, with no privacy for sunbathers.

The staff were very nice and having just opened, the hotel was in pristine condition, very clean. The location is great if you have an event at the Delaware Turf Fields, just a 5 or so minute drive away. Otherwise, it is off the highway and right next to a Royal Farms. Much cleaner and obviously newer than the Hampton Inn which is the other nearby option. I am giving a 9 rating as this is one of the best options available for those having sports events at the DE Turf. Otherwise, there is no reason to stay at this hotel in my opinion.

The way they handled a couple drunks next door who had a party all night and made so much noise we couldn’t sleep. My son had a soccer game early the next day and that made it worse, as they finally got quiet around 5:30 am. We alerted the staff in the afternoon as they were already drinking and yelling. During the night we had to call the front desk twice, once at 2:30 am. Next day I asked for a refund or compensation and they said the manager would call me on Monday. Well, it’s Friday nobody called. So I’m just trying to report what happened for future customers.

Doors were super heavy to open and close . Floors were disgusting and filthy for not being carpeted . Water pressure in shower was horrible . No counter space in bathroom .

Newer hotel, clean lobby and eating area was immaculate . Smelled clean and fresh. Eggs were fantastic at breakfast !!
