Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Smoke from other patrons was percolating into my room. It is a no smoking facility. Management needs to enforce the no smoking restrictions.

I think they rent out rooms there as you feel people were sketchy who were staying there. When I got back from my trip we found a red bug and I think it was a bed bug :-( gross
The service was nice and the area was a good area to get to other places or nice restaurants.

Crazy loud guests were arguing and banging on a nearby door in middle of night. Because we were in the motel style part of the hotel, the parking lot was outside our door which could be why it was so loud. If you book ask for room in the hotel and you will likely have a positive experience.
Great location to Rockville center train station and town. Clean room, comfy bed

The bathroom door was coming off. The shower head would spray water out when turned on. The waster was turned off with out the staff notifying us.
The room was clean. Bathroom water temp was perfect. Fridge was perfect temperature as well. Breakfast was good as well. The Christmas tree was up for the holiday already which was nice 😊

We were hungry after returning from the concert, around 11 p.m. The young man working the front desk suggested we call Uber Eats as it was a Sunday evening. We decided to walk around the block from the hotel and found two restaurants that were still open. We will always frequent a local establishment rather than a chain restaurant. Manager should reach out to the local restaurants and shops to provide information for guests. Unfortunately, we left the next morning and weren't able to check out the other restaurants and shops.
We attended the Andre' Rieu concert at the USB Arena. Very convenient Uber rides to and from. We liked the Rockville Centre area!

I didn't like the prices for the stay. The cost during the week day wasn't that different than the cost during the weekend. Its VERY costly to stay here. I also didn't like the pool hours or location. Its outdoors only and it ended way too early 6pm and it's summertime. They should hire a pool guard so the pool can close at least 9pm.
I liked the daily room cleaning service. The complimentary breakfast was very helpful in the mornings. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was that the prices for the stay during the week day was no different than the weekend. VERY costly.

The neighborhood was different. Great restaurants all with walking distance. However the neighbors were rude - a car parking in the handicap space blasting a super loud stereo at 10pm, folks leaning on my car while getting high, motorcycles screaming up and down the road all night.
It is very clear that the owners are making major investments in the property. I was working on the patio by the pool and a member of the staff came out with water for us. Super friendly and a very professional touch.

The pool hours ended early 6pm and the fact that there's no indoor pool. The gym is very small and seems scary. The week day prices aren't that much different from weekends. It's very pricey.
