Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The towels were not the best size or quality and I would rather real cups in the room over disposable ones.
The room was spacious and clean. The staff at check in and in the Roadhouse Restaurant and Bar were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The restaurant and bar serve good food and drinks at reasonable prices. The soap, shampoo and lotion were very nice.

The heater was super loud so I had to turn it off to sleep.
Great old Americana esthetic! A good place to stay to visit Yosemite, with a bus stop right around the corner. There's a dinner and a supermarket in the same block.

Breakfast was poor in quality and quantity. Rooms are very old and can feel dirty even though they are not.

Pillows are way too flat for me. It said conditioner shampoos, but I don't think there's conditioner in shampoos coz it dried my hair.
The room is clean, and the heater is whisper quiet.

Cleanliness was below average.. Bed sheets didn’t feel clean (no good smell), that’s a big no for me.. but if they can improve this it would be a 5star for me
The location was great, it’s a good point to stay if you go to Yosemite for the day. Breakfast was a good surprise, (huge variety to choose: it had waffles, coffee, juice, oat, boiled eggs, apples, breads, banana muffins)

The hair dryer was so old it made more noise than air and honestly was scary to use. Luckily the rest of the stuff stood the test of time a little better. Another thing is the location - it's cute, for sure, and there are some nice things around, but it's still basically the middle of nowhere. But going from there to the parks is of course easy and it makes for a great 'base of operations'.
We had the room with a bubble bath - fantastic. But also besides that the place exceeded our expectations. It was clean, roomy, comfortable and had friendly staff. A wonderful bed, too. Things look a little dated (to put mildly - the '80s want their stuff back) but it is well maintained.

Kinda doggy environment on the first moment, but later perfectly safe feeling even late in the night.
Super friendly staff. Cool location for having a stroll along Mariposa town. Definitely good value for money.

The property met our expectations. We have no negative feedback.
Everything was really acceptable given the the cost and having a restaurant in the premises was definitely a plus as well as being so close not only to downtown Mariposa but the entrance to Yosemite.

Large rooms with comfortable beds. The room seemed clean and well maintained. It was quiet and peaceful and only a short walk from the main street. Free breakfast was a nice bonus. The Roadhouse next door had nice food and atmosphere.

Nothing really. Parts of the interior have seen better days, but everything was fine and did its job. If you are renting a room there, you should expect a simple inn and you will have nothing to complain about, especially for the really good price. If I had to complain, it would be that the fridge was quite loud.
Great stay for the money, nice DIY waffle breakfast with enough alternatives. Good location close to the highways 120 and 140 and therefore perfect for trips to Yosemite if you are traveling on a smaller budget. Also both routes to the park are beautiful! The personnel were sweet and helpful when needed. The room was big and equipped with a microwave and a small fridge as well as a coffee maker and a TV. Can recommend it!
