The bed was uncomfortable. The heater didn’t work, room was cold. Parking was far away, not monitored, but it is a safe town. I live in Nevada and I felt very safe.

Historic Hotel. Nice employees. No noise from other rooms. Love location, out in the middle of no where. Breakfast was good and hamburger for dinner was great. Again, fantastic people that worked there.

I think a printed guide for the tv channels would have been nice and one of the bulbs in the bathroom was burned out and the toilet seat was loose. We had to ask for a blanket for the ged otherwise we would have been bold.

free breakfast was very good and the bath towels were very nice

The front desk attendant Heather was rude and apparently, lazy. She refused us check in 30 minutes early. Joshua took over for Heather and was a breath of fresh air. He was considerate, professional and went the extra step for us. He also stated early check in was not an issue.

The decor is amazing and the history is a great story. The location is excellent. The rooms are comfortable, keeping in mind the hotel is over a century old.

Hot. Our room very dusty around fixtures, frames, etc. The heat lamp did not work in our bathroom. Towels were big, but mine was ripped, torn and see through. Needed new towels. And the shower (hot water) was something to be desired (sarcastic).

Love the property. Furnishings, atmosphere, history

Only one chair in the room.

The historical perspective. It was wonderful to experience a stay in a well restored hotel from the early 1900s. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed breakfast at the Pittman Cafe.

Hotel has been completely restored and it is absolutely beautiful. Bedroom was a little tight but it was very nice. Had breakfast which was included in the room rate and it was very good. Did not have dinner but there is a beautiful lounge/bar are which is outstanding.

I wish that there would have been at least in a mini fridge in the room to keep some food and drinks on hand.

The breakfast this time around was horrible. I ordered the eggs Benedict; the egg whites were under cooked and the Hollandaise sauce was thick, chunky, curdled, and the food was semi warm. It clearly looked unappetizing and don’t know what it was served to me at all. I didn’t send it back as I had to get on the road; I scraped off all the sauce and ate some of the egg yoke and muffin. Considering the meal prices have gone up significantly, I would have appreciated a hot enjoyable meal. The evening before we had dinner in the main dining room and it was very good. On another note…the desk manager (I’m assuming) was scolding a staff worker at the front desk, which was uncomfortable and could have been done behind closed doors.

We’ve stayed here quite a few times passing through in our travels; we love the Victorian style of the hotel and the option to have a cocktail and a meal within the hotel. The rooms are good size, nice large TV and the coffee Keurig in the room is a perk. Room floors are fairly quiet. Generally, the staff strives to be accommodating. I also really enjoy the Cline vineyard wine, which I discovered several years back on a trip to the wine country.
