We originally booked the room with a harbor view but it got upgraded since it's our anniversary. We got a very nice room with the best view. We watched sea lions & ocean from our room. The breakfast in the room was great. We were looking for something simple for breakfast & it was all we looked for. You won't go wrong with this hotel.

Amazing location right on the water and 15 minute walk from Fisherman's Wharf. Great restaurants, coffee even closer. Very good property with on-site parking. Room is spacious and comfortable. Had amazing balcony view over the water and seals/cormorants. Big bathroom. Continental breakfast brought to the room.

The hotel was older than expected and didn't have a gym, or pool, it felt costly but the people made a big difference and I ended up appreciating the details in the room and a sense of traditional elegance and luxury. It was a good stay overall.

I was offered an upgrade to an ocean-view room and the stuff Darren was very helpful in many ways. I extended my stay and enjoyed the spacious room, and breakfast was delivered to the room, the location was great, too. The first night I had a view of moonlight over the ocean it was gorgeous.

Nice, large room. Beautiful view of the bay. Clean, friendly staff, convenient location. Easy check in and check out. Plenty of parking. I will definitely be coming back to the Monterey Bay Inn.

The only thing we didn't really like was that there's no water refill stations on property. Everything else was completely amazing. Not a big deal, bought a couple water bottles at Tidal coffee. And poured them in our Yeti's.

Amazing views. Close to everything and next to the beach. My grandson enjoyed his birthday trip with you guys. We stayed overnight and took him to the Aquarium. Everything was amazing. Thank you so much!

When booking it didn’t state daily parking fee, breakfast was disappointing, the pastries and Oj were the highlights.

The location is perfect! A 15 no more than 20 minute walk to most places. Loved that the premises were clean well and surfaces in the room were not dusty or overlooked. We received a complimentary breakfast that was delivered each morning at a time that we chose. The room itself was amazing! Panoramic view of the harbor with a balcony that did not disappoint! Right off the beach/ocean. Weather was perfect and left the balcony door open all night with the fireplace one. Spectacular view of the harbor. Sun rise over the mountains while watching the waves below. Great amount of space, comfy bed and pillows, good amount of seating areas, bathroom had enough towels for two for a two night stay. All staff that we encountered were so nice and helpful! Darren definitely went above and beyond and we are so grateful! Thanks Darren for your hospitality and the great conversation! We were sad to leave as this property was great. Definitely worth the splurge!

No water dispenser on property. And bed was a little too firm for me. My hubby liked the firmness of the bed tho. So overall it's just a matter of opinion I suppose. Other than that everything was amazing.

Location and view from the balcony of our room was able to walk everywhere on cannery row easily. And the sound of the ocean waves from our room in the evening was so peaceful and relaxing. Will definitely stay again

Nothing, it was perfect.

Excellent location, quiet room, double sink bathroom(!), parking on site and inexpensive. Staff so nice and helpful, cookies in lobby(!). The breakfast was plentiful and they bring it to your room! So clean and spacious. We had a balcony overlooking the harbor and park area. Left the window open at night and listened to the waves. Everything was wonderful and we would stay here again. Hot tub overlooking the ocean was wonderful after a long day of walking the area. Near all the restaurants and attractions.

We didn’t use it this time, but the last time we were there the chemicals in the jacuzzi made my hair very greasy. I’m not sure what it was, but hopefully that’s been remedied since last year.

I love its location, there’s San Carlos beach and a five minute walk away from the Cannery Row action. It has lovely views of the water, Especially in the morning. On top of that the staff was very friendly.
