Admittedly, the climb up a ladder to a loft for bed isn't ideal for everyone, but felt safe and manageable, even for me, someone who needs the bathroom for at least one "trip" overnight.

The very best things about Morning Glory were the little nuances... the sound of a brook rushing just outside our door... the ease of a walk up and down Tinker Street... but best of all, our warm and artistic host, who spoke of the paintings she did that hung in main room where we had breakfast. She was conscious of attending to every need, while also sharing the aspects of life in Woodstock that she loves. It was a dream-stay!

Diane cooked a delicious breakfast every morning, and was lovely to talk to :) What a treat to see Panxi's paintings and listen to her guitar playing from the other room during breakfast!

It’s on the main road, so some traffic noise during the day. Didn’t notice it at night.

Beautiful setting, very close/easy walk to downtown Woodstock. Easy drive to beautiful hikes in the area. Host was pleasant and welcoming, and extremely helpful with suggestions of activities in the area. Delicious breakfasts. Room was comfortable. House is full of lovely artwork by various family members. All in all, a wonderful stay.

The house was welcoming and warm. Our stay was peaceful and we enjoyed the hens and the creek on the property. The house was very clean and the bathroom was very well maintained during the three days. We can’t wait to return!

Morning Glory captured our heart. We were there for two nights, the vibe is restful and peaceful. Beautiful house, gorgeous art, paintings created by family members. Diane is the perfect host, patient, thoughtful, giving great suggestions on hikes, walks, local events. Breakfast was delicious, she was able to accommodate our gluten and dairy free diet. A gem, will definitely be back!

Lovely place to stay, in the perfect location on the main street, minutes from bars, shops and restaurants (but quiet when you want to rest - it's a small town). The owner made a fantastic breakfast.

We stayed in a little guest house in the back which was lovely. The problem was that the queen bed was in a small loft with a very steep ladder and a low ceiling. It would have been fine if we were younger, but it was a challenge for a couple in their seventies.

The breakfasts were delicious including fresh eggs from the hens in the back yard. We had very enjoyable talks with our hostess and the other guests.

I didn't look closely enough at the map, and was bummed to realize that there was a relatively well-traveled road outside. It was still lovely and quiet...I think I'm just burned out on roads from living in the city!

The room was beautiful and peaceful, breakfast was awesome, and my hosts (including the kitty) were delightful. I really appreciated Diane's recommendations for hikes, and her willingness to switch up my original room to one in the back. Check in and check out was also super easy...highly recommend :)

there is nothing we didn’t like we were in the little cottage on the stream and the babbling brook was soothing. We loved the loft bed but if you are older or with any mobility issues choose one of the rooms in the house.

everything the setting is lovely. couldn’t be better located. the hosts Diane and her mother are really exceptional and wonderful people. delicious breakfast every day. we highly recommend.

Very homey and lovely stay- great location with a short walk to town. The breakfast was delicious and as I traveled alone, someone was always kind enough to chit chat over coffee in the AM. A great spot for solo travelers.
