To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaI was unaware of a $150 security. Harder they took out on my arrival. When they took it out they recharged me for the room, though when I. Allows them at the time I saw it in my account, they immediately fixed it. No shampoo in the room. Didn’t see the note about it til we were about to leave. The area of the building is undergoing construction and is in sad shape. This is no fault of motel 6 or their staff

United KingdomNo coffee machine, or hairdryer in the room. The bed springs on one side were far too soft (broken?) . Had to request change of room. Bed not much better. Glad we were only here for 1 night. Nothing to eat nearby, other than the restaurant in the Crowne Plaza.

United States of AmericaTV channel selection SUCKS - Only local channels. TV was set up so as not to connect anything to it. You can't even lower the volume than a preset level. They are worried about TV thefts! Hotel is near a busy street intersection. So, be prepared to hear traffic noise all the time.

Motel 6 served our purposes well as we only stayed overnight. We didn’t need a lot of amenities so it was fine that they didn’t have a hot breakfast, etc. We especially liked the shuttle service to and from the airport. That was a big plus for us.

United States of AmericaLess friendly morning staff on this stay Pricey for the amenities (no fridge or microwave) Second floor room had creaking from room above us until 2AM. Our first stay on first floor had no noises during the night.
Check-in staff was awesome...same person both stays. Great potty yard and disposal for my service dog. Plenty of raised luggage racks and luggage caddy. Hot water with good pressure. Clean.
