Burn holes in the blanket, shower head wasn't clean, noisy, and other people asking for cigarettes

Too noisy. Mattresses need to be replaced. Walls are paper thin.

Took over and hour for me to get checked in no one came to the front desk for houri stood there and there was cockroaches in the room and was told I would get refunded some and could be moved in the morning and as of this moment not been moved as it is after checkout now was wanting to try again to stay again just in a different room with no roaches

For the most part it was cute room location was thought to be ideal just the hwy being as close as it is it's loud

My room was ok, my friend’s room was dirty & the TV didn’t work & no remote. She ended up getting a different room. My room was clean but the curtains had a burned spot & the flooring etc. were “tired.” There were several “sketchy” people hanging around outside and the grounds had garbage everywhere. The road noise from 35 was very loud too.

The woman who checked us in was very friendly & accommodating. The rest of the staff, not so much. As always, pets stay free, thank you!

There were cochroaches all over the room. The mirror was off the wall and the fridge was outside in front of my door must have been broke down. Go to turn on the light and the whole light display falls off the wall. The room was so rundown I don't think they were suppose to rent it.

the staff was very understanding accommodating to one's needs a few times I laid on my check out or waking up for check out and it very courteous and extending time to allow me to prepare myself to exit every so often you can find any good decent price available ability of smoking rooms is great did you feel safe on the property even though it can get rowdy and loud with the management has an overall group and control would like to see the pool open sometime and understand why not still draws me back home for my business

I've been staying at various motel 6s in the Des Moines area for quite some time now since the north side one has closed and turned into their new super six or whatever I've been spending most of my time staying at the North side one and over the years it is deteriorated to a mid-level slum housing complex infested with roaches footstep now after about a year have started making any honest and decent effort to clean up but it was at one point not uncommon to walk in and be greeted by more bugs of infestation but then actual workers overall cleanliness of the room is of a hassle to just not focused on the cleaning job just barely making it cozy enough to stay

The cleanliness of the room and parking lot was not up to the standards we felt they should have been. And our door to the room wasn't opening in the beginning so we had to wait outside for the maintenance man to come to the room twice to get the door open.

The desk clerk was friendly and helpful.

My bedding had holes in it. Only one light worked in the room. Air conditioner heating unit did not seem to operate. Entire property was ran down and in poor shape.

Very low quality. Door locked but the seal was non existent. Tile floor was filthy. Bathroom was adequate, however a woman wouldnt use the shower. No microwave or trash can. TV turns off by itself. Bed saggy. Many people outside room, looking in while door open. Likely drug transactions going on. Not likely, that happened.

The room was supposed to be handicap accessible. It was in the second floor. The shower they called roll in was a small corner stall with at least a 5 inch step up. Not to mention the visible dirt and stains throughout the room.

The motel was just off the interstate and close to the places I was visiting.

was worried about bed bugs, outdated, seems like more people are living there then it being for open traveled. bathroom was kind gross and the water pressure was bad.

Tricky to navigate to due to road construction. Bed old, sheets had holes. End unit closest to I-80 was extremely noisy but I got 'some' sleep. Seems to have a lot of long-term residents.

Inexpensive place to sleep, relatively clean for the price. Nice to find a smoking room. Easy parking.

Cleaner, locks fixed, carpets cleaned.

The hall carpets dirty, order, cleaning carts left in hall, side entrance door doesn't lock so poor security, didn't feel safe. Not really worth the price. Motel 6 chain has gone in the toilet over the years. Never stay in one again.

Pool was closed, lobby remained locked, receptionist requested my pin due to they keep the lobby locked, H to the No! The grounds were dirty n the little reception area smelled.
