Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Our room overlooked the freeway and freeway exit so there was a bit of noise and the neighborhood surrounding the hotel was a little sketchy especially when walking under the freeway to get to McDonalds.
Airport shuttle was convenient and the location was within walking distance to fast food restaurants like Panda Express, Little Caesar's and McDonald's.

Shuttle info NOT mentioned in detail on website. I use a wheelchair and struggled to locate its stops and additional info. Free coffee apparently available NOT sure if true, wasn't mentioned at check-in. My room had no microwave. Foam mattress moved around, not stable at all!
Proximity to airport, about 15-20 min maximum. Free shuttle hourly. Meaning shuttle arrives at airport 15-20 min past the hour. Operational 5am - 10pm. Need to enquire for peak season, info may differ. It does NOT stop and park. It drives by slowly, you have to watch out for it like an eagle and wave it down! Shuttle is coloured dark blue with '6' on it (Motel 6). Shuttle general info not published, that's why I'm emphasising it! Room was spacious, phone, smart tv, bathtub and excellent water pressure. Window opened about 20cm for fresh air. I specified room with fridge. I walked in my room, NO fridge. Without TOUCHING anything in the room - not even the toilet - I quickly notified check-in, and they allocated me another room. Aircon ok, cooled down faster than warming up. Door had deadlock and safety chain. 2 lifts, security presence, but motel is quiet. I heard some mention of free coffee in lobby, but I wasn't told about it upon check-in, only noticed it at check-out. Lots eateries within 5 min walk. Dollar Tree shop 10-15 min Max walk. Lots bargains !!!, Friendly enough staff. Lots vending machines. Lots brochures for activities. I didn't do any exploring as I wasn't feeling well.

No communication at all: asked about the airport trsnsfer and go no answer 😭had to take a taxi at 6 PM from the airport that charged 60 usd for that small ride.

very small dining table, 2 extra folding chairs would be good
Clean, spacious, good bathroom/toilet, near LAX. Plenty of restaurants across the road. Free drinking water, common microwave to use, vendo machine for sandwiches/drinks. Room can fit 4 people (2 double beds).

It’s been over a month Anne I still have not received my security deposit back I’ve gone back and. Forth with them that I had to have my bank who’s debit card I used. Handle the dispute - you can’t lie to the receiving bank !

Wifi wasn’t working so tv didn’t let us use any apps Floors were sticky Didn’t mention before booking that you need to pay for parking $16 everyday you stay at the location.
Location is near the freeway so be prepared to be woken up at night with all the noise even with the windows closed, and the AC on .

The excess security was a bit much. The shuttle to and from the airport only runs hourly, so if you miss it you are stuck waiting forever.
Was very surprised at how nice it was and comfortable the beds were.

It has a very distict smell but once you get past it, it's okay.
