Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaIt WAS NOT an Econo Lodge as advertised. Nasty facility, building in disrepair, Large black garbage bags sitting everywhere outside, grounds were waist high in weeds and there was a large group of people congregating in the weeds out back partying. Scary place and ABSOLUTELY no place I would ever want anyone to stay at. Person running the front desk (owner, maybe?) lied and said that we would not be charged due to us not staying because of the situation, but we were charged. The health department should really check this place out and close it.

United States of AmericaSee pic of outside room. Next door
This was probably the worst motel stay of my life and I’m not young. It showed on Booking.com for $52 but somehow I paid $101 but that would’ve been OK since it was the last room available apparently in Metter. it was supposed to be non-smoking, but there was an ashtray and the smell of smoke the manager Insisted it wasn’t smoky because he said there was a camera in the unit and no one was in there smoking. which women may be concerned about. It was blinking on the ceiling. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. I never actually got to sleep. The towels were cheap. There was no cup or glass and the shower rod fell off and hit me in the head, talk about a bad stay !! when I saw the manager the next morning. I let him know how unhappy I was and so he offered a 50% discount on my next stay. I let him know there was no way that was ever gonna happen.

United States of AmericaNOTNING!!!! That was the oldest MOTEL( advertised as a HOTEL) that has never been renovated . They were rude, unhelpful, and very UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I booked thur booking.com, they had 3 reviews and they were okay, but went under Econ Lodge in Metter , Ga. There were so many bad reviews, mice had been seen along w/ mice droppings in the bed on the sheets, Roaches big enough to carry a child off… Very Very dirty comforter, noticeable when you walk in the room over to the bed.. Bathroom I don’t even want anybody to get sick by my review on that… I am 54 years old, traveled pretty good bit in my life.. I have never seen a hotel as bad as this, but also to have the worse service as well.. As I mentioned in what I liked about the stay, ( I didn’t stay, we left) I think it’s a scam, the owners do not care about their motel and customer service… When I booked thur booking.com, there were 3 reviews okay reviews..It stated also if you cancel non refundable, you will lose one night stay.. Booking.com stated that was a policy of this Econ Lodge.. When we arrived we asked to see the room, the lady at the desk said no.. ( word for word), this was before we signed the check in papers. So we signed, then got to the room, took pics and went back up to the desk and told the lady that we prefer another room, she stated that there was not another room.. I really feel like that was not true, it was a motel where the doors to the room are directly to go outside.. We saw nobody around.. So she gave us a refund for 1 night ( we had 2 nights booked), so Econ Lodge got money and didn’t care if we stayed are not… To Booking.Com the pics of that Econ Lodge is not the pics of that Econ Lodge you have listed in Metter , Ga. I am not even sure when I called Booking.com right when we left, and the customer service told me that, the policy of non refundable was Econ Lodge’s Policy.. I’m not saying it is not. But I will think and do better home work when and if I use booking. Hate this
Nothing.. It was the dirty, very unclean. Read reviews on Booking .com Okay reviews. After we arrived, we asked to see the room, before we signed check in papers.. They refused to let us see the room.. Got to room, you could see the how nasty, dirty and needed to be updated.. When you can see stains on the comforter, ( that visual) when you walk in and over to the beds.. We requested another room, they stated they didn’t have another room, so they gave us a refund for 1 night stay ( we booked 2 nights), but under booking .com it states no refundable after booking . Booking.com stated that was a policy from Econ Lodge. Personally I think it was a scam, they knew when we requested to see the room before we signed checkin papers, I could have disputed that policy, but since they didn’t let me look at a room .. I signed in, and then went to room.. They knew we were not satisfied, didn’t have a problem refunding my one night return , but they made a $100.00 from me , by doing nothing not even trying to get us another room.. This is the good part of my message.. Next Box is what I didn’t like is worse…
