Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe room didn’t have a mini fridge for drinks , I’ve always stayed in rooms this size and price before and they always at least had a fridge . The people above were running around all morning very early , very loudly and it seems like staff didn’t care to ask anyone to be quiet. But I did receive several reminders about checkout which was a little irritating
Close to everything, clean

United States of AmericaThe tub felt like you could fall through the bottom of it any minute during a shower in one room, while our teen got locked in the bathroom in another room and we had to get a "key" from the front desk to free her (there was no lock on the door so no one knows how this happened). The 3 bathrooms we saw all need water remediation and repair of the tile, but overall, this was a really good place to stay. Note that there is nothing but bed linens/pillows, towels and a bar of soap provided in the rooms so you'll need to come prepared with your own shampoo, conditioner, etc. The covers were also a bit thin so if you're cold natured, you may want to bring your own blanket. There's also no elevator but an easy set of stairs to the 2nd story. Still a good night's sleep in a clean, safe location close to all we needed.
Very clean and sparse room, friendly staff, and coffee in the mornings was good from the lobby. We checked 3 different rooms before checking in to make sure there was no musty smell to indicate mold, and the two rooms upstairs weren't musty at all, but the one downstairs was a bit. This is a budget hotel (rooms were inside vs opening to the outside), but it was exactly what we needed. No microwave or refrigerator in the rooms, but we used a small microwave in the lobby to heat up our dinner from Safeway Grocery Store (they have amazing fresh Chicken Pot Pies and Buffalo Chicken on their hot bar during the day). We'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Williams is charming and only an hour from the Grand Canyon (and about 75 minutes from Sedona as well).

United States of AmericaThe motel is an older one, so it's a little run down. Our door and door lock are desperate need of replacement, it was tiring trying to wrestle with the door all the time. I had to throw my full weight against the door to open it and sometimes even though the key card slot flashed green, the door wouldn't open at all. The room was clean, if not a bit ragged around the edges. The heater unit was pretty old, but worked. The bath tub had the ring around it from many past guests and needs to be scrubbed.
I travel with a service animal, she gets mistaken for a pet, but she's a service animal. Other lodgings will not always allow service animals, especially if they have a no pet policy. This is the main reason I choose to stay at Motel 6. Not once have I had an issue with my service animal. They understand what she is and never asks anything more. I also have a non-service animal and with pets allowed, he gets to come too.
