The price was a little on the steep side, even for South Beach.

A modern, fresh hotel with an excellent pool and rooftop. The room was comfortable and quiet, and the complimentary bike hire was great for riding up to North Beach.

When we arrived at the hotel, we should have paid $1056 . At the reception they wanted to charge me $2300 and my card declined. When i asked why, they told me they need a security deposit. After that they charged me 1556 , so they took $500 for security deposit and explained that after checkout they will return it back to me. But they never did and it’s been a month. It is totally incorrect!

There was no coffee or breakfast for free in the morning. There should at least be coffee until 9am. If you are on vacation you aren't up at 6am. The staff were not friendly and it was difficult to get answers for almost everything. Very frustrating. The rooms were very small and I wasn't expecting that. It should be more clear how small the rooms are/will be.

The decoration, the energy of the place in general. The rooms are small but if you are travelling with a carry on it´s ok. If you have large bags or big luggage you will find challenging to find space in the room. The first floor lobby + patio, the pool area and terrace are nice. The hotel is really well located, close to the beach and the trolley / bus stop. Pio from the front desk was particularly really kind and helpful with everything we needed!

Nothing, all positive.

Everything really! Friendly staff, funky cozy room, great Decor, cool pool area, amazing location in south beach. I got 2 complementary glasses of prosecco and a snack at check in time. Also, free coffee every morning at the lobby bar area. Beach chairs and 2 hrs of bike rental for free daily. The Moxy is a real treat, definitely coming back.

The only issue was that the bed linen didn’t smell good. The smell was like they hadn’t dried everything well and it got musty smelling. My sons room didn’t have this issue everything smelled clean and freshly laundered.

Rooms are TINY, very little storage space except under the bed and a wall rack. Rooms could be a little colder, no way to really change the AC fan speed from the wall, but AC guy did set it to 60F. AC Fan seems low compared to other hotels. Breakfast is a joke, expensive and no selection really to speak of. The restaurant on the 2nd floor should have it, esp. for a 4-star hotel. Other guests agreed with us also. But, we found a nice one finally at a place called Limonada, best of any we ran across. Hotel price is also a bit steep, but not terrible due to location, and being 4-star. I'd probably try a cheaper one next time in Miami. The pool was pretty good on the 2nd floor, good atmosphere and margarita machine was nice. The top deck had a tiny pool, for a couple only, but views were nice up there. They should change the water in that pool, as it was very warm. The bar on the bottom floor was nice, but super expensive, really $18 for a cocktail? I never saw more than a few folks ever the whole week there. That's the same price about as the Mango Cafe and you get FREE bands there.

What we liked: Location is excellent, you can walk restaurants, drug stores i.e, CVS, and the beach is 3 blocks away. Beds are the best of any hotel I've had. Bathrooms are nice, water pressure good, plenty of towels, and beach towels in room are nice. Staff very attentive, fixed our AC issue on day 1, and brought us a mini-fridge that we asked for quickly. Also helped us find places and easy to get bikes and also find the chairs location on the beach. The style of hotel was very modern.
