Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandAlthough our room was clean at the beginning, room cleaning did an okay, but not perfect job throughout our six-night stay (e.g., the bedsheets were never changed). I guess they were busy due to option for late check out (12:00)
We recently stayed at this relatively new hotel and were very pleased with our experience. The hotel is easy to reach by subway and taxi, and it’s also within walking distance to both Little Italy and Chinatown. Our room with a double bed was spacious and clean, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. Our package included a daily $30 voucher for drinks, which we enjoyed at the small but cool bar on the ground floor. The rooftop bar is stunning with a trendy, hip atmosphere, though it is quite expensive. A special mention to the hotel staff for their professionalism during a fire alarm incident one night. Their handling of the situation and clear communication over the intercom reassured us until we were informed it was a false alarm. We felt very safe throughout. Overall, we had a great stay and will definitely book again!

United States of AmericaWe stayed here in preparation for the 5 Boro Bike Tour. We had a small room, which had us maneuvering a bit to fit in luggage and items. Rooms were quiet and peaceful. Breakfast cafe good for coffee and pastries. Staff was friendly and professional.

United KingdomDidn’t know about resort tax until arrival. The nightclub goes on until 4am, we were on the 3rd floor and I could hear the bass all night even with earplugs (luckily I bought some)
Loved the location, easy walking distance from loads of amazing places in downtown. Super comfy beds!

CanadaJust knitpicking here but I felt some (not all) of the staff were slightly standoff-ish as in we felt like a hassle asking questions about the citibikes (day pass included in your stay) etc. It felt like I was going into a club rather than being at a hotel reception. I don't like slating staff that work in hospitality, but the cafe staff really just did not want to be there! They didn't want to conversate and you tell them what you want rather than them asking. When you're paying what you pay for this hotel you'd assume a simple experience like that would be better! I also don't like that you get told about the city taxes included on your rate until you get there so just check you bill after as I was charged extra than what I paid through booking.com.
The hotel was very clean and quite modern. The bed was extremely comfy and the room ended up being bigger than we thought. Most of the staff were friendly and helpfull and you can leave your bags with them without hassle on checkout which is always an added convenience. Great location in terms of being close to subway stations and near nice cafes and spots to eat! It was great getting 30 dollars credit a day for the cafe/bar in the lounge. They also have storage rooms on different floors in the hotel for different essentials you may need like deodorant, razor etc which was a nice bonus!

United States of AmericaPaid extra for city view but was put on 5th floor so view was pretty limited. Room was low enough that constant car horns were a distraction late at night.
Great location and extremely comfortable. Beautiful entry and close to a subway entrance. Liked the daily credit which allowed for free croissants and snacks

NetherlandsNo proper cupboard or a place to let your towels to dry. That is: everything turns into a bit of a mess fast. They provide you a 30 USD credit to spend in the hotel per day. Start calculating what you spend, since aside from the main counter, the bar can't check how much is still left. Pls be prepared to use it on the day of arrival, since the credit starts and ends on the arrival day. That is: you can't buy your breakfast with it the day after.
It's a friendly, inviting place.

United States of AmericaThe coffee in the morning was gone each morning by 7:30-8am. It wouldn't have been an issue if there would have been a coffee shop nearby. Not a huge issue though.
