The halls needed vacuuming and our floor was very dirty. Our sock bottoms were literally black after walking on the floor. Really needed to be washed.

Great interior design with a lot of games, nice pool for kids, great hangout area and bar. The furniture is amazing (p.s i tried searching for the small folding luggage stand but couldn’t find from i can buy it i like it a lot!) The staff were very kind and helpful. Oh and amazing vibes!

The major concern I had was the amount of effort it sometimes took to get my room cleaned. During my six day stay, I only had my room cleaned once without me having to press and hassle for it. Trash was overflowing and I had run out of towels. I would also appreciate the option to park my own car without the valet and tipping pressure. I understand paying to park but not where the valet is the ONLY option.

The beachfront location, lobby, and "vibe" was great. It was a fun place to stay right next to the beach.

I didn’t like how my tv didn’t work and I asked the front desk to fix it twice and no one ever did. I should have been placed in another room.

My only issue was with the sink leaking however the manager was quick to compensate me for the inconvenience. I think it’s a newer or recently renovated building so things happen but I’m sure they’ll work it out.

Right on the beach, central to most everything on the board walk. Valet was only $11 which is crazy good for the oceanfront.

No issues with the accommodations except I would have liked a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The hotel staff did warn us in advance that these were not available, so I appreciate the notice. Gracias.

The location was excellent - right on the strand. It was just a bit further from the Shamrock Marathon start/finish I wanted. But that was my own choosing. Due to the amount of parking for the marathon, my husband drove me 2 miles and it worked out just fine. I saw the party crowd in the lobby and started to worry that the hotel would be loud at night - but the room was quiet. Hooray! I am guessing the hotel put all of us runners/sleepers together and maybe all of the party animals on another floor. Whatever you did - it was greatly appreciated. Appreciate the party vibe normally, but for the marathon it was great to have the option to party but also go to bed at 9 PM.

The only thing we weren't a fan of in the room is that we were unable to get really warm water. The shower was lukewarm at best. We were only there overnight, so it wasn't a super big deal, but if we were staying longer, we'd have had them fix that or move us.

We travelled to Virginia Beach for an overnight and stayed at the Moxy. We had two rooms, because our parents were travelling with us. We travelled with service animals. The customer service was stellar, especially the care and consideration we received from Emily. We had called in and requested adjoining rooms, and she was able to help to accommodate that. This is not something they are always able to accommodate, it just happens that we were travelling outside of peak season, so it worked our for us. We also asked about early check-in and were told they'd be able to accommodate that. However, when we arrived, the rooms weren't ready. Emily took care of us, she made us comfortable in the lounge area (which is beautiful) and continuously checked back in with us to see if there was anything we needed. Overall, she cared for us and apologized for the inconvenience, which is fantastic customer service. Valet parking was great! The rooms we stayed in were on the top floor and had excellent views. We loved the modern feel, and you can't beat the location on the beach. The downstairs diner was also great.

The sink had very little pressure. The front desk explained they had just opened in June 2023 and were replacing plumbing as it was not functioning well. Very nice staff. All other aspects of stay were great!

I personally don't like when the sink is outside of the bathroom, I'm also not a fan of no fridge...I was here in the winter and needed somewhere to keep my leftovers nice and fresh and could not.

Loved the balcony and the shower!! Pillows were way too soft, please get some firmer options as well. Bed was comfy, i loved that I was able to sign into my netflix. The lighting in the room was confusing at first lol.. could not figure out how to turn on the smaller lamps/lights. Some were also not working but loved the room and the restaurants and the free ticket for a drink at the bar! The bar does close super early though, i don't know if that's becuase I was here during the off season or if I'm just a late night person but loved my stay will definitely come back!

The room was a bit challenging to get warm. The heat was turned up to 80 & I still had to sleep in a long sleeve, pajamas & warm socks.

The environment was very fun and cool. The staff was exceptional. Emily, Jas, Jolie & Hannah made the check in and visit at the bar very fun and welcoming. Jas also recommended a very good wing spot!
