Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyOnly thing I can think off is the little flexibility in the bar opening hours as well as the rooftop (was supposed to be open but closed earlier without a reason)
I always like the vibe of the hotel and the style!

United KingdomWe stayed over a weekend and did go out but our room was right next to the lift so the late late night comings and going’s could be heard.
Location was great for walking in and out of the city to the main attractions.

United States of AmericaThe only thing is that they have a really nice rooftop on top of the hotel so you can hear the music in the evening from the room, but personally I slept very well.
The hotel is very nice, the interiors are very new and well kept. I loved the lobby which is also a bar with lot of seatings and space to chat and play different board games. The staff is amazing, very helpful and kind, i reserved the room with bunk bed because it was the only available but once I arrived there and told them I was alone they offered me a wonderful room with a double bed. They also offer a free drink for every guest!

United States of AmericaTea appeared to be a cheap kind so I used my own bag I think the room was nice for a single person but I didn’t like the bathroom when traveling with someone else
Haha! We were told upon check in that breakfast was provided. When I attempted to get a muffin The next morning I was told that there was a $5.00 charge. So, I wasn’t happy about that. Also thought perhaps juice could be provided if there is a breakfast. Also….hot water for tea was unavailable at 7:30 am

United States of AmericaLack of privacy while using the toilet, a couple light fixtures didn't work, found out my key card opened other patrons doors around me (I alerted the staff of this), remote control was dead but was replaced immediately by staff. Other than that everything was great.

United States of AmericaMaintenance of rooms could have been better (heating, Wi-Fi, loose hardware and motorized blinds). More types of pillows would have been nice. Mattress was a bit hard. Sink area lighting was not great for shaving. No closet, low hanging, wall mounted clothes hangers. Bare floors everywhere!
Excellent front desk staff, especially Whitney who help me sort out some problems with my room. Loved the bathroom setup with the frosted glass surround which allowed natural light in. Rooftop bar was fun!

United States of Americathe room was extremely small, which made it hard for me and my husband to maneuver through the room together. The pillows was very uncomfortable unfortunately. We are boomers at heart so checking in at the bar was uncomfortable for us but it wasn't bad since the person there was genuinely nice everyday. There wasn't any parking, we parked at city center DC parking garage (it is $27 for over night stay).
The person at check in was VERY kind and always willing to answer any questions we had. The shower was amazing, the bed was cool, and I liked that we could open the window for breeze. I liked the fact that we could eat on the patio deck on the 5th floor (outside of the fitness center). It was also in walkable distance to all the major things we wanted to explore. The block was pretty quiet and there are restaurants close by for dinner options.

United States of AmericaThere is an attached kitchen but the food quality is not satisfactory. Every time I drank the coffee, my stomach felt rather uncomfortable all day. The provided juice and cake prices are too high.
The location is excellent, almost close to everything. Major attraction sites almost all are within the walk distance. The price is very good. The room is clean. And the staff member cleaned the room every day.

The location was the biggest advantage - just 10 min walk away from the White House and within a walking distance to all the main attractions in DC.

United States of AmericaThe room we were in was a lot smaller than i expected. I think it would’ve been better for a single-person stay.
I loved that the property was in a great location. They had a restaurant next door and a rooftop restaurant/ bar. They, also, had a bar by the check-in desk. We truly enjoyed our romantic weekend.
