Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We had a burner but no cookware 🤔 but I guess to have that me as guest would have to pay extra 🤷♀️ I know prices of everything went up I would of been ok with just a fridge

See above...Difficult to regulate room temp so not too warm combined with synthetic bedding does not breathe; therefore causing you to be to warm and sweat.
Always Feel clean and tidy. Two negatives: 1) impossible to regulate room temperature that it is not too warm. 2) Although the white bedding duvet/cover is looks good and gives assurance it is fresh and clean, the material causes my husband and I both to overheat and sweat. synthetic materials tend to do that where cotton/natural materials do not. We always say next trip we will bring our own covers. Maybe this is not a problem for most people but difficult to get a nights sleep due to room temp/bedding

We have a kitchen & cooking stove, theres no pots pans to cook, theres no dishes, silverware to eat with. Would of been nice to do own cooking and eating in our room with cooked meals. We had a microwave tho which was better than nothing.

My flight arrived late so I was only in the room for six hours. It seems like a lot of money for six hours but allowed me to rest well and start my day refreshed.
Location. Coffee maker, stove, microwave and full size fridge in room. Recliner.

A light continental breakfast would have been nice, although they did have a little store that you could buy items from.
Hotel staff were very accommodating. They sent a van to pick us up at the airport, had suggestions for restaurants, and held our luggage for us between check out and our bus to Seward. This hotel is a good value.

We didn't get much information from the guy on reception. Nothing mentioned about breakfast or the booking the airport bus.
Good location with plenty of bars and restaurants within 10 minutes walk. Rooms are large and spotless clean, and very comfortable The free airport bus was a great extra! We were also able to check in early which was a huge bonus for us as we had all our luggage with us

I didn't like that our clothes got stolen out of the dryer. Obviously you have to have a room here because the laundry door locks and your room key opens it. Just can't believe someone staying here would go so low as to taking someone's laundry that needed washed so we could leave in clean clothes.. Cameras in the corner but no one seen anything.. Hmmmm!!
The staff gave us extra time to check out, which was well needed because of coolers and extra baggage.

Unlike similar chains, there is no breakfast buffet, although you could pay someone to heat up a pre-made breakfast sandwich and deliver it to your room. Expensive, like everything in Anchorage.
It is a simple, no-frills type of property, but our room was clean and comfortable.

During our stay, there is no airport shuttle service because the driver was taking off.
Cleanness. There is a kitchen in the room, good for cooking simple food for budgeted traveller.

It would be nice if it was priced for normal humans.
Great extended stay hotel. I just used one night due to a cancelled flight. Really expensive but all of Anchorage is during tourist season.

Bedside table only on one side of bed. It is not close to the downtown. The beds were very squeaky.
Very accommodating and friendly staff. It was great to have laundry facilities. It was walking distance from a great restaurant, bakery and small convenience store.

Staff took a long time to respond at Reception; once we waited as desk wasn’t manned & phone wasn’t answered & the other, the staff member took a phone call from his boss while we were trying to check out and we had to wait quite a while for him to finish. No equipment in kitchen & no washing powder available to buy for laundry.
Good value for money. Pizza bar nearby was great!
