Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I didn't like the fact that I wasn't told that when I got there that I had to pay $100 deposit and that I was also told that I would get it back in the morning I didn't get my money they took $100 out of my debit card and did not want to return it until 3 to 4 days that's not right so it basically screwed up my account my account put my account into overdraft and that just there was money I I was I needed that they took and we're not willing to give it back from my understanding I can understand the credit card but when it comes to a debit that's cash so why weren't I why wasn't I given cash back I have to wait for my money I will never go to this place again they lied to me told me a story took my money and would not give it back
The place was clean and very well I was very huge and big the price was okay for $67

there was no continental breakfast, which I should have noticed when I booked but that’s so standard I didn’t even think of it. the rooms are very run down, there was a huge crack in the drywall down from the ceiling to the floor, noise really carries, we could hear people in the room next to us and also below, so we were nervous of making too much noise and disturbing others. there didn’t seem to be enough staff—when we went to check out on the last day of our stay there was no one at the desk for 5-10 minutes at least, we left to get gas and then we came back and they were back, but if they were called away or if they needed to use the restroom it seems as though there should have been someone else to cover the desk or at least a note when they were expecting to return.

The outside was a little run down, grass area overgrown, needed some repair and paint. My view from my second floor room was of a broken fence and overgrown lawn area.

I requested my room to be cleaned and they didn't put it in so my room wasn't cleaned.
Overall, it was fine. If you dine at the mystic diner right next door and show your hotel card, you get 10% off your meal (breakfast, lunch and dinner)

Only issue wax bathtub, not clean, hair present, dirty moldy caulking. Needs attention.
We’ve stayed here numerous times. Love the location and diner next door. Friendly staff. Beds very comfy, enough towels, micro, fridge, all good.

The room was dated. There was paint peeling off the wall in the bathroom along with stains on the wall. The bed was uncomfortable.
Staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a great location, central to a lot of activities.

The lobby was a bit run down with the fish tank and the fitness rooms lights were not functional. The bathroom in our room still had some stuff in the shower like shampoo bottles and used soap bar.
We liked the location and the value of the property.

The rooms facing the highway get the morning noise of traffic. Rooms could use a little updating, all in all good for a night or two
Good location just off the high way and very close to the Mystic Shoppes and Aquarium. The Mystic Diner right next to the hotel is fabulous

There was change on the floor near my bed as if the floor hadn’t been cleaned. Neighbors in next room were noisy making it hard to sleep

It’s a bit dated and worn. It could definitely use some maintenance but it was clean.
Devita at the front desk was great! The location is excellent, having the diner attached is a great bonus. It’s right across from the village for other shopping and dining. Indoor pool was nice and the hotel was clean.
