Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaI was not a fan of breakfast. It was a bit bland and in my opinion way too pricey!
My husband and I visited for our anniversary. The location was good and the staff were very nice. The room was clean and quiet for the most part. Would definitely stay again.

United States of AmericaI loved that there were restaurants near by, and delicious may I add. Walking in the hotel we were greeted with smiles, and asked a question, they really cared about my response. Definitely will come back in the near future.

BelgiumRooms could have been cleaner (used tissues on arrival) but cleaning staff was really friendly. Gym was too small for the hotel and swimming pool was dirty. People were in the swimmingpool and jacuzzi with their clothes on. The beds were really small for 2p.
Great location, great view from the bedroom. Nice there was a gym and the possibility to buy breakfast with the $25 tourist tax. Staff was really friendly.

New ZealandThe beds are doubles rather than the more common queen size in other accommodation. The towels provided each day didn't always match the number of us staying.
Great quality accommodation; good size room for our family of 4; great access to key subway stops; a lot of shops and food options close by.

Francethe beds were really small to sleep 2 people. And it lacked a real breakfast room and restaurant.
he location of the hotel was perfect, we were a 5 minute walk from the Brooklyn Bridge and the subways were a 3 minute walk away. The neighborhood was great. There were plenty of restaurants and shops and the traffic was calm.

FranceBathroom could be modernized, staff was ok overall some were nice. You get a $25 credit per day per room for breakfast but the price at the cafe are really high. I thought we would be closer walking distance from the brooklyn bridge.
The gym and the pool. The pool is great if you like to swim in the morning. The hotel is big. Room are spacious, bathroom ok. Beds were comfortable. We got a late checkout easily. Two subway stations nearby.

North MacedoniaThe pool was not clear, had some dirt, probably from old paint on the surface.
The location was Brooklyn downtown, plenty of fast foods and restaurants, near the Jay Station for fast access to Manhattan via Metro (20 mins to Times Square). Very good hotel for families.

AustraliaThe room was large but needed a significant update as it was old and dated. There was easily space for two queen beds but the room had two doubles (there was no option for 2 queens when I booked) and as a couple with a 10 year sleeping together in one of the double beds wasn't comfortable. Additionally the mattresses were old and soggy and not very comfortable especially compared to other Marriott hotels. All the electrical points were coming off the wall and need some attention.
Excellent location near two metro stations so very easy to get around. The room was large for NY but could have done with a significant update. The Shower was lovely with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The gym and pool were fabulous. Housekeeping was excellent and the room was very clean.

United States of AmericaRight side window curtain in rm 551 is off some hooks. Used wine and drink glasses deposited in hallways and not picked up. We had a large gathering of family, and when we tried to sit together in the lobby we were repeatedly asked to order drinks, food (which some of us did, but not all of us). Charging $15/day for WiFi was not received well by extended family.
Second stay at this Marriott. Location great. Room was terrific — large enough that the two of us were not bumping into one another; wonderful bed.

United States of AmericaThe pool area needs to be maintained better, it was water and hair on the floor around the pool and jacuzzi. Also the TV was not working in our room no one came to fix it after 3 calls. They moved us the next day but it was later in the afternoon, but they did credit my account for it.

United KingdomI wasn’t informed of ways in which I could redeem the $25/day destination fee. Also, bottled water had to be ordered to the room and wasn’t left daily, which was a shame for the price ($275/night)
The location and staff were both the best features of this property. Everybody who was working couldn’t do enough to help and be kind. Kudos to all of you.

United States of AmericaThe property itself was fine. No complaints there and the staff was friendly.
Our room was extremely dusty and there was a huge fly in there and a dead centipede on the carpet. Had to call the front desk. The dusty surfaces are inexcusable honestly. Makes you feel like nothing has been cleaned properly and wouldn’t dare use the coffee maker after seeing dust on east to reach surfaces.
