Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaMy first night the air conditioning was SO Loud I couldn't sleep. I asked for a different room and they gave me one where the air conditioning was very quiet. The only disappointment was their website and description on booking.com says there is a roo top lounge for guests to hang out, and that is why I chose the hotel. Well there is no longer a rooftop available. They really should give me a discount. I do recommend the hotel it's a cool place , extremely clean, and the beds are comfortable
Location was good, I would definitely stay here again. Very clean. Nice Aveda toiletries. Decor is minimal but attractive. Nice lobby. Rooms are small but are well decored, bed and pillows very comfortable. I had a room with a balcony, which I liked had a great view. Felt safe ( traveling solo)

United KingdomRooftop bar wasn’t open during our stay- we weren’t advised of this when we booked, only when we checked in. We booked a corner room which had great street views but there were a few points which could have been improved upon: standalone toilet room with no sink, bath somewhat randomly placed on the floor, shower took a long time to warm up and no power socket / usb charging points at the window side of the bed which these days should be standard.
Location excellent- right in the heart of the neighbourhood. The Japanese bar was fantastic, great cocktails and service. Nice feel and vibe to the hotel- funky design. Bed comfy and no problem with noise at night. Price point better than many in NY.

IsraelThe room was quite small for 2 people, drawers under bed were not comfortable to use - could offer more storage for couples. It's great to have free bikes but they should be kept in better condition.
Loved the area, great location. The hotel is a nice size, very clean rooms and good amenities in the room. Compact but it's NYC so you expect that, great vibes, would recommend the Nolitan to friends.

United States of AmericaNo complaints.
Nice location that is a short walk from several subway stations and interesting neighborhoods. Friendly staff and pretty lobby. Complimentary coffee and tea in the morning in the lobby. The attached restaurant was good for dinner.

Brazilthe water at the shower takes forever to get warm, and it never gets hot (lukewarm at most). gladly it was warm outside, but i wouldn’t recommend the hotel during the winter. there’s no breakfast, and the rooftop is closed for renovations.

United KingdomNot much to be honest... the got water rakes a while to run through and the rooftop bar was being renovated.
I stay in NYC a lot and the rooms are as good as hotels 3 times the price. Location is the best and they make far too little about the free use of a proper, and I mean proper gym.

CanadaThe hot water was slow to kick in, but once it did it worked well.
Staff were very accommodating for early check in after an early flight which was much appreciated. Room was clean and bright, and the bed was very comfortable to sleep in. The location of the hotel is fantastic as it surrounded by endless places to shop and eat while also being a short walking distance to the metro.

AustraliaOur hot water tap was a little funky in winter haha but heated up just fine, took a while to get going.
The location was central and close to a few option for the Subway. Rooms were large for New York standards, clean and fresh! Bed was super comfy.

United States of AmericaSometimes the heat was cranked too hot in the hallways, and the elevator freaked out once. Other than that, a nice place to stay for a few nights.

United States of AmericaVery expensive for what it was: decent room in good location. There were no extras. Also: when we booked, the Booking.com website listed parking option. When I called a few days before to confirm, there was no parking option and had to pay extra to find a parking lot.
Liked the room: balcony was a nice touch to have. Clean and staff was helpful and friendly. Quiet floor.

SwedenThe only minus was that there was no door for the bathroom (shower). Design-wise nice but not so very practical.
The location is absolutely amazing - highly recommended. You could also use their bikes for no cost - which was awesome. The staff was friendly, the morning coffee was the best coffee in town. All an all, had a great stay and would stay at the hotel again, for sure.

United States of AmericaBeds are not suuuuuuuuper comfortable, the internet is slow, and the staff are not super friendly. But none of it has been a deal breaker for us.
The location is in an accessible part of SoHo for our travels. The rooms are small but are designed well, so we've come back. No breakfast is available, but there are great little places to walk to grab food close by.
