It had only 1 access to the beach outside of the hotel. It was too unsafe for me.

I was very happy with my stay. The staff was excellent and helpful. Very clean. And I loved the ambiance of the hotel. Loved the gathering area with the fire pit at the table.

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like. Everything was perfect.

The room was big and the view of the ocean was amazing. We had quick access to the beach, the deck and pool. There was three adults in a double room which was very roomy to move around.

The pillows are too soft.

Staff is very friendly. I got the king suite with jacuzzi tub, room was amazing. Perfect bay window view of the ocean, sit in the jacuzzi and watch the sunset. Breakfast is good as well. Don't get alot of breakfast in the mornings anymore.

The second day the key cards failed. Maintenance replaced the lock batteries. The key cards were replaced three more times but Never worked until check out. One of us had to stay in the room.

Breakfast was adequate. Could be healthier with Shadow or whatever complex carbohydrates instead of white/flour Anand sugar. Needed fresh fruit. I loved the gas grill. I prepared shiitake vegetables skewers. The pool was warm and inviting. I loved our balcony over the beach. The linens were new and very clean.

Recreational area including the pool was closed for maintenance. So booking.com and the properties should get in touch to post these inconvenient before booking.

Our initial room assignment didn't match our booking. We reserved a room with two queen beds but were given one king bed instead. After notifying the front desk, they promptly rectified the mistake and provided us with the proper room on a different floor. However, the disappointment came when we noticed pet fur on the floor, indicating that it hadn't been properly cleaned. Overall, while the location was superb, the initial room mix-up and cleanliness issue were notable drawbacks to an otherwise enjoyable stay.

The hotel's location was truly outstanding, just a short stroll away from the beach.

There wasn't a bathroom in the pool area and you had to be outside to get to it. The beds were not very comfortable and had dips and divets from being used so much.

I loved the view from the room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. On the second night there was a fight going on in the room next to us and I called the front desk and within 5 minutes it was quiet. The pool is extremely warm and clean as was the hot tub. It was an awesome pool! The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast selection was decent: waffles, eggs, sausage, bagels, muffins, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal.

The birthday celebration package was an absolute smash. The remodel they did on this place really is next level.

I would worry about the place being noisy and packed in summertime. The breakfast area was really bustling and did not have much space to spare-and our visit was in April.

The view was spectacular-even at night! This was the perfect place to stay when taking my kids to the ocean for the first time. Our room was a decent size for mom, dad, and three young kids and the breakfast had a lot of variety. We chose this place as a jump-off point for the Oregon Coast Aquarium, Cape Perpetua, and other coastal highlights. The location was great. Surfland also features some thoughtful, but not absurd details such as goat milk lotion, little tide charts, and french press coffee in the room. (Sidenote: We stayed in Eugene the next two nights and paid almost the same amount for a super crappy room. Surfland really is a great value)
