Location is pretty close to different subway stations, the staff was really nice and helpful, I like that it's a dorm but with no bunk beds, they allowed me to get to my room earlier than normal as it was ready, which was very helpful. I would highly recommend that place.

I wish the daily cleaning would include vacuuming the floors. With the constant turnover I had to deal with lots of foreign hair on the bare floors. Glad I brought socks. Ventilation could be better. My room was stuffy and we had to open the windows for fresh air & circulation.

Location great for quick commute via subway, bus, Uber... friendly staff. Loved the art on the walls, made property unique. Great WiFi. Kitchen equipped with essentials for guests to prepare own meals. Also neat pubs and eateries nearby walking distance.

The location somehow takes you 10-15mins walk to the nearest subway station. But if your not rushing on a day it would be nice to do this. Though NYC weather is unpredictable always take with you umbrellas.

I like to say that the room I stayed with was spacious and clean. Having a small living area inside the room is a bonus. The facilities were nice, making you sociable and I enjoyed meeting & greeting people around. It was really easy to get into your room even when you're carrying big luggage's as they have lift to take you up stairs and the staff were helpful to give you what you need.

The Hostel's wifi sadly didn't work in our private room very well, we had to go outside to connect

Hostel is about 10 min on foot from 2 subway stations (L and J train). There is also a lot of amazing small businesses in the area. Daily housekeeping helped keep the rooms clean and comfortable.

The bathrooms looked like they were being cleaned everyday, but I've found a lot of midges on the ceiling.

Friendly staff and helpful reception. I have had some good suggestions about what to eat in the area. I have only been there for 1 night, though. Spacious room.

The lounge was nice but the furniture need to be cleaned more often. The fabric was greasy. If possible it would be nice if each bed had a curtain for privacy . I didn't like that when I took my backpack in the storage room I was left unsupervised. I could have easily walked away with someone else's things.

I am 6'2''. The bed was a bit small but aspected for my length. The mattress was old and not comfortable. It's far from JFK airport. About 30 min at night and 1 hour during the day for 9 miles.

Check-in was fast and easy. The room was big, and I had room for my luggage. The come room was inviting, clean and organized.

Ugly neighborhood, no tea (they said they’d run out and never supplied), unstable internet, carelessness of reception staff (they promised my card wouldn’t be charged yet it was by booking).

Big room and bathroom, lockers in the room (you need to bring your own lock, or buy), equipped kitchen, was able to choose my bed, free coffee, friendly staff, library
