I Appreciated that The Sunset Hotel is Per Friendly,

Well when you arrive to your location at The Sunset hotel, it's a bit noisy on 6th Street the Location, Although once you enter the Sunset Hotel you'll feel Completely Comfortable Speaking with the Clerk, The Rooms are definitely clean and the bed is Completely comfortable to sleep in Best advice would be to Do Online Booking and Give Reasonable Accomodation.

No tv service & no towels in room. Staff (welcoming & exiting) were rather ho-hum in their service not stating "enjoy your stay" &/,or "thank you for stay with Oak"..etc.

Smelled like pee. The windows had no screen so I couldn’t open the room’s without bugs getting in. Doors didn’t open/close easily so all night was the jamming and squeaking of the door in the jam. There was also duck tape to block the light coming in from the hallway due to the doors being so off-kilter. No A/C save for a tiny fan that barely worked (and was covered in layers of dust). My room wasn’t cleaned when I arrived (not a problem) but when I returned, it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned (dirt/stains everywhere), so I had to wipe everything down. There also weren’t towels so I went down to the desk and when I asked for some the guy acted like I was bothering him. The towels were also very small (not for showering). Speaking of shower, the liner was cloth and covered in mold.

Great location-right across the street from the venue and close to transportation options. Amazon Fire-type TV with access to more than just basic cable.

Thin walls you can hear everything from the hallway, also when somebody from the next room if it is taking shower the noise is unbearable… The water pipes are making strange noise..

My room was right next to an outside door which made sleep pretty difficult. I was constantly woken up by noise both inside and outside the hotel. The walls seemed to be made of cardboard.

Check-in/check-out was easy and what I needed for the room for (sleeping in between exploring the city) it was passable. Room was clean and everything inside was in good working order, plus the bathroom was solid.

The light in my room didn't work, she trigger, curtains window will barely hanging fell a couple of times on its own. Did desk person treated me as if I was in a type of institution or ordering me, ( shut your door) as if I was going to leave it open Pandora maybe just something to leave or whatever who knows who knows what he was thinking when he said that to me. I would have had a nicer time in a tent ⛺.

My room is on 2nd floor, but no lift. The second night, a policeman and a woman knocked on my door, twice in the middle of the night! Maybe someone called them in but was nothing to do with me.

It would have been nice if I had a steamer for my clothes. A fragrance smell also would have been nice. It was an odor that was really strong. I had to spray on a daily. They need to update the blanket set. The bathroom design was really nice just need another shower curtain. The toilet was so close to the door uncomfortable.

Room - Fair & comfortable bed size. It had a microwave, fridge, tv, table, window, & sink. I also had my private bathroom 👍 loved the shower pressure and it got hot 👍

The wall wasn't sound proved and there was a woman in room 36 who screamed and yelled and made noises all the time. I mean all day and night long.

The hotel is not so far from the transits and the staff are nice.

I think knowing that the place is half "hotel" and half boarding house is necessary for setting your expectations. Some of the other residents/tenants can be loud, and one night a couple were arguing so loud the manager had to intervene and threatened to call the police. I never felt particularly unsafe, but even with a "private" room and bathroom I didn't feel like it was great privacy. The walls are pretty thin, and you can hear a lot of other people coming and going at all hours. You get what you pay for I guess.

The price is great, really can't beat it for the location. The room was decent, bed quality better than most at a similar price. Microwave and full size fridge were nice to have. Bathroom a bit awkward layout, but it all worked.

it was grim inside. the under sheet in the bed was heavily stained. It was noisy lots of noise inside. On the plus side room 41 has own shower room and very hot water. It was cheap and you get what you pay for. city centre San Francisco. it was just above a hostel though. not a hotel as I know a hotel to be. I’ve been over Generous with my scores

shower curtains in room 40 most all of the shower rooms are in poor mis repair , not enough wall outlets or extensions, the tv don’t work , and heat is hard to come by.

We were in room 2, right next to the front door, and the heavy metal security gate banged closed very loudly every time anyone came or went — every few minutes until well past midnight! VERY FRUSTRATING, made it nearly impossible to sleep...

Towels, bed sheets needs to change.Very old and there was no hand&face&feet towel.No AC, room was cold, no extra blanket, bed sheets was dirty, pillows wasn’t comfy, all the common areas smells weed and cigarettes.

Location was good, safe, close to downtown and attractions.Reception person Said was very helpful and friendly.

The room smelled like an ashtray, burn marks on the top of the refrigerator. TV didn't work they came and fixed it and 1 hour later it flipped off and I didn't go back down and get the staff.

Bed was comfortable. Location for my travel need. I would stay there again.

There is only one lock on the door which works without a key. In the middle of the night somebody tried to come into our room, we didn’t feel safe. You also could hear every footstep in the corridor.

The luggage could be stored at the hotel before check in and after check out.
