Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Leftover food in the fridge, used towels hanging on back of bathroom door. Had to move the bed to get to the only outlet in the bedroom to charge phones. Needs bedside lamps with USB ports.
The location to the beach and close parking. Furnished with utensils as advertised.

The fridge leaked.
Staff was extremely responsive and helped with checkin, ensuring we had our room number and door code prior to closing. They were available over call and text which was very helpful and didn't take long for a response.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and access was easy and allowed flexibility as they're using code-locks instead of keys. The room had everything you would need and was spacious.

It was not well maintained. Had a broken light bulb in bedside lamp, The receptacle by the small table didn't work. The power strip would trip when trying to use anything plugged into it. There was a coffee maker that was quite caked with old coffee, and there was no coffee or filters for it anyway. It was difficult to find anyone in the office. Although I was glad the old carpet was gone, it still has that old mildew and Lysol smell, but not too bad. There was one ceramic cup, and a couple plastic spoons, but nothing else.
The location is fine, short walk to the beach. The price was good. TV selection was good but could have used a menu. The internet worked fine.

The water in the sink would not get cold. I arrived at 2 AM and all I wanted was a cold glass of water. I didn't want to go out to the ice machine in the middle of the night

The room was disgusting.. We had to go out and buy cleaning supplies to clean this room and the bathroom was beyond unacceptable. My wife spent hours and days just cleaning which was supposed to be a get away for us for our anniversary.. We still made time but the first day we spoke to the"manager" who was rude and defensive and had no intention on making things right.. My wife took photos and videos as well... Really need to find out who I can speak with about our situation and the actual care of the resort itself and it's guest.

I love everything about this resort! So much so, that I am returning in June with my family. It’s clean, has everything you need and the location is perfect! You’ll most likely check in via text and it’s so easy! Angie is a doll and will help you via text the whole time! VIP service!

I didn’t like the fact that the manager never got back to me about a refund for one night. We ended up having to stay even though it was not big enough for us. When we booked the room, the pictures made the rooms look a lot bigger than what they are. The bed about killed my back!
We liked the location aside from not having any beach access. We loved the mermaid and the pool. We Love the fact that they offered beach/pool towels.

Having to go up the stairs to our room. My husband doesn’t like to have to climb stairs.

The Shower was soo small. My husband who is 6 feet tall could hardly move when showering. The Chairs at the pool were in very poor condition. The material was worn and torn.

I could not walk the distance from the hell hole motel so I missed the beach time that I had wanted . They were not on the beach as the website stated I am calling/writing the BBB in St Petersburg

It was way over priced for what we paid, it was not worth it at all. We should of paid about half of what we did

No coffee provided?! Sign that said guests charged extra $15 for dirty dishes. Coffee cup was not clean, had lipstick on it.
