WiFi was spotty. Didn't get linens or towels changed -- but maybe you have to request that and I did not. Tub drained a little slowly, and the table was a little rickety.

The staff was very nice. I spilled coffee on two pillows, and they refused to take reimbursement for them. It's right on the beach, and you can see the Chesapeake Bay from the parking lot. The shower was hot. The bed was very comfortable. Very firm, which I like.

It felt as a group of people have made this their own little town. There are ALWAYS people watching you and trying to scope out your situation. People were shouting, fighting, and slamming doors at all hours, and nothing was said to them. It always felt like someone was about to try to run your pockets or something. It also felt as though the staff was either on the take (willingly or not) and/or in a hostage type scenario. Also, there was no chair in the room which meant the only seating was the bed, which was not great for trying to get work done. The lights could not be controlled from bed, seems small until you leave the lights on to read and then have to get up to turn them off mid-doze.

Loved the location! It was right off the beach! It was nice to be able to hear the waves from the room. Liked that there was a 7-Eleven right around the corner as well as several restaurants and shops of varying types.

The noise over my head.... There where a few roaches in the room.... The floor was dirty.... when u walk witout shoes the bottom of yo feet get gritty and dirty.... The tub wasn't clean... They have done some nice renovation.... they just need to get rid of the bugs.... And these beds r to soft and move to much....

Staff was rude. Doesn’t try to help clients. Smells like smoke in the rooms, so it’s not a non-smoking area in the rooms. Other family members had the same issue.

Close to the beach, easy access to parking as well. Rooms were a good size & bathrooms are renovated.

I disliked many things. The room smelled like cigarettes. The cable wasn’t working properly, it was stuck on one channel. A comforter could have been provided. More towels could have been provided, and floor towels were not provided. Given that the Ocean View Inn is on the beach, it would have been nice if the floors were tile instead of carpet so the sand wouldn’t get stuck in the carpet.

I liked the staff. They were responsive and kind. I also liked the location, since it is right next to the beach. The king size bed was comfy enough.

-sketchy -looked like people “lived” there -parking lot and in front of our door had trash everywhere when we arrived, random underwear and used condoms on the ground. -roaches in the bathroom -we requested late check out, which we were give. 30 extra minutes so 11:30am, well before 10am a very rude lady was banging on my door insisting it was checkout time. I told her we had late check out and closed the door and at 10:55am a gentleman showed up. Angling on the door reminding us of checkout times. By this time I had just had it, pointed at our bags that were all packed so we literally just had to walked out the door.

The room wasn't clean, and it needed a coat of paint. I walked over 2 miles for coffee the first morning of my stay. After that, I resorted to Uber Eats.

Staff were friendly. The room was quiet. The motel was right on the beach.

Can not complain about the room to much due to my husband is handicapped and needed a room on ground floor that was not available-but the mgr did get us a room. The TV reception kept going off and on. Bad reception. Ice room was dirty on Saturday. Sunday morning the door was locked. unable to get ice. Smelled musty.
