Says parking for 2 cars yet lucky can get 1. Have to park longways in front of the garage. Oven does not work. Seen the reviews but had hoped they got it fixed since we planned a lot of cooking and lots of complaints to upgrade. So don't plan on using the oven for anything. After 2.5 hours trying to cook 3 baked potatoes at 500 degrees, it was a hard no. Only 2 of the 4 burners work so had to time everything only using 2 burners which were the small ones. Only 1 roll of T.P for the downstairs bathroom. I was surprised that in all the reviews we read there was not a mention of the leaning and slope of the floors. Leans/sloped towards the downward slope of the backyard. Couch is cupped and leans back and is hard to get up from with fighting against the gravity of the pitch/sloped flooring was really hard for our elderly parents to get up off the couch, myself included The dryer takes a long time to dry things. Took 3 cycles to attempt drying the sheets on departure. Not sure if even dried on 3rd go around as we had departed by then. Pillows really need to be upgraded. Really soft and flat next time we will bring ours from home.

Nice location. Beds are very comfortable. Nice cozy place. Nice little deck to sit out on and look at the ocean. Pretty small downstairs queen bedroom but the bed was comfy. Tight squeeze up/down the spiral staircase to a nice sized king bedroom with a great view and full bathroom. The heat worked well downstairs. There is a plug in heater to use upstairs in both the bedroom and bathroom. Extra soft blanket in the closet. Does have an ice maker in the freezer section. There is a blow dryer in both bathrooms which was nice. Plenty of dish soap, laundry soap, dryer sheets. Great dog basket with leashes, bowls and towel to dry. Has lots of cooking utensils, pots and pans. Nice little BBQ in the breezeway thank goodness. Cut up our prime rib into steaks since the oven was a no go. Microwave worked good, toaster good. There is a big 12 cup coffee pot and a small 4 cup to meet needs plus a hot tap on the faucet which is very nice. Would book again knowing all the little issues and quirks we encountered now that we know to account for it. The view is outstanding and is really a nice cozy little house. Just needs a little upgrading to the oven and stove top.

The downstairs bedroom was difficult to maneuver--too much furniture in the way. Also, the mattress pad slid off the bed causing a person to fall out. We would have liked safety bars in the showers. We are two elderly couples; thankfully, one couple was agile enough to climb the stairs. The ad did not make clear that one bedroom and bathroom were upstairs and accessed by the spiral staircase.

We liked the view and the spaciousness--except for the small bedroom-- of the home. The kitchen was well-equipped. We were very lucky with the weather. If it had been foggy as the day we left, it would have been less enjoyable.

Nothing that I can think of that impacted our stay.

I liked that even though it was someone's house, they still provided towels, bedding, and even a puppy welcome basket.

This place is 100% "Grandma's house". Some of the appliances are 40-50 years old, but they work fine. Not a big deal, and some elderly folks may even appreciate it, however it is not exactly kid friendly. There are delicate things and glass everywhere. The side tables in the living room are top heavy and made of marble. I bumped into one and it fell over, making a dent in the wall. There was an identical dent right near it so it has happened before. I had to move the tables out of the way to prevent any further accidents. There is a narrow, rod-iron spiral staircase leading to the 2nd floor (where the master bedroom is). Queen room is downstairs. Our dog would not dare climb it, and I wouldn't want her to anyway. She is 55lbs, and carrying her up and down the stairs was very cumbersome and not really safe, but we couldn't leave her downstairs by herself. Big consideration here if you have a large dog, unless you stay in the queen room. The yard is nice to have for pets, but the back porch and yard are not closed off, so pets have to remain on leash. Most of the backyard is at a steep grade. One of the railings on the porch is not fastened to the house on one end, so when I went to lean on it, I nearly broke it and fell into the yard. This is a serious safety issue that needs to be fixed immediately. The front door must be shut firmly or it will open itself again. Had a couple close calls with our dog almost sneaking out. There is no air conditioning, which is the norm for most homes at the coast. However most of the windows here can't be opened, so in the summer, you need to be mindful of opening the ones that you can in the afternoon to get the house cool enough for the evening. The agreement states no more than 2 cars can be parked here, but there is only enough room for one car. The garage is not for guest use and you only get a car-width space between the garage and the road.

The view is spectacular! You can see the whole shoreline from the deck, which is the main draw of this place. The sunset was to die for. The neighborhood is quiet but still in town so everything you need is close-ish. The king and queen size beds are appreciated, and were comfortable. All dishes, pots/pans and utensils were provided. There are also some condiments and spices in the cabinet. There is an Ice maker in the freezer and the tap water tastes good. There is a washer/dryer and detergent provided. The TV has an extra HDMI port and a power strip nearby, so you can connect a laptop for Netflix or whatever streaming service you have. The TV was still in store mode so I gave it a quick adjustment and rough calibration - You're Welcome. The Internet connection / wifi has enough bandwidth for multiple devices to stream HD content at the same time. Overall, this place provided a good value for the view, size of the home, and a place that accepts pets.

The furniture could be updated and the shrubs could be cut back.

No breakfast and the location was good for the view, but access to the beach was not good.
