Excellent home base for enjoying downtown Santa Barbar.

Room size in building 4 was extremely small. I’m sure prices are market values, but seemed very high for the 13x13? Space.

Great location and outside patio areas and lobby areas are very enjoyable. Fire pits could use some maintenance, but made very comfortable evenings. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

The rooms are dated, especially the bathrooms. It was very dark inside the room….lights need to be changed out. Not a fan of the mandatory valet service…. I need to have my keys on me to make a quick run to the car for forgotten items.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic and everything is within walking distance.

We were expecting a deluxe king room, and while we did get a king-size bed, the room itself felt small and was located right at the top of the stairs where passersby could look into our room, so we didn't really get to enjoy the "ocean views" we paid for since we had to keep the curtains closed for privacy.

Beautiful location, right on the waterfront. Walking distance to State Street and all the shopping and restaurants in the area.

It's hard to relax with a lot of noise from the maintenance staff most of the day. They slam doors and drag large plastic bins and talk loudly while working the grounds. Couldn't rest in my room during the morning or afternoon.

The hotel is in a perfect location right on the beach and close to restaurants. My room had a nice view and patio on the second story. Very dog friendly.

They got rid of free breakfast since the last time I was there and the people above us both nights were up at 5:30 am stomping back and forth back and forth and I called the front desk to tell them and the people still didn’t stop.

The staff did not seem overly friendly anytime we interacted with them at the desk. We were enjoying a drink by the fireplace outfront and being respectful, and they came out at 11pm promptly with no warning and turned the fire places off. They didn't ask us to leave though, and again didn't give warning or ask how long we may be. Why they didn't just let us finish our drinks prior to turning off the fire still baffles me. They were there all night and could have just waited to see us leave.

Great location. Right across from the beach and pier. Well kept resort grounds and facilities, and very charming. A bit older feeling but we liked that about it. Just around the corner from some GREAT restaurants and bars.

Walls were so thin. Didn’t sleep well for 2 nights. Second morning was worse, 7am tv blaring from neighbor and stomping yet they said there was no one directly above me but diagonal from me. Rooms were darker than pictured. Bathroom door very loud and hard to shut.

Hot cocoa bar, lounge area, fire pits and loved the salt water pool and jacuzzi.

The room was antiquated and definitely needs a rehab and freshen up. The reefer was so noisy we had to unplug it to get any sleep. The drapes did not close properly for privacy becuase they were broken. Very small room for the price. No continental breakfast offered, not even bread or baked goods.

The location was right by the beach. Excellent views. The staff was friendly as well and the valet parking was easy to use.

Shame no breakfast included - but not really a negative just something which would have made it perfect!

Gorgeous room, bed amazingly comfortable. Right on the sea front by the boardwalk Love the little shop and the free hot chocolate before bed, and the guitarist who plays on a Saturday and Friday in the front desk lobby, makes it feel homely.

There was no microwave in our room, and our tv wouldn’t connect to WI-FI so we were kind of stuck watching whatever was on cable. Also the bed was not comfortable at all and I’m pretty good at sleeping on uncomfy beds, this one just wasn’t it to be honest.

The location was amazing, I really enjoyed the overall vibe of the rooms. It might be outdated to some but I found it quite charming. Everything was very clean and the staff was impeccable, would definitely book again

Great location within Santa Barbara. Hotel very average.

The hotel rooms have very thin walls so we could hear people talking in the adjacent rooms. There was also street noise because the hotel is on a pretty busy street. Valet parking is hectic and expensive and some of the street parking is actually more convenient. I paid for an ocean view room, but it was just a view out the window with no balcony or patio to sit and enjoy the view. Bathroom needs an update.

Really like the location. We were able to walk to the main street of Santa Barbara to shops, restaurants, cafe's and thrift stores. It's also right across the street from the beach and pier.

Nice hotel, lots of ocean view rooms with beautiful landscaping - but our floor was filthy.

1.) The floor was disgusting - filthy. 2.) We were shocked at the price of valet parking. The cost of parking - plus the tip to get the car every time you need it. Very inconvenient and the costs really adds up! 2.) It was sad that parents of 3 little girls allowed them to run around the complex screaming at 8am. Thats a bit early for others who are on vacation to relax. It went on for almost an hour - even when I went outside and asked that they stop - the kids kept running up and down the stairs all around upstairs screaming. Lots of fun for them - not for the guests. This is not a knock on the hotel - by the time they got to the parents, they were getting ready to depart for breakfast. It would be great if families with kids were in buildings separate from adult only guests. Hotel Milo is huge - they could easily do this and meet all guests needs!

We had a 2nd floor with ocean view - it was lovely! It was great that our pup was welcomed. The location was great - with lots of very good restaurants nearby. The grounds were beautiful!

We didn't like having our room right in front of the pool , we can hear everyone until 10pm. Suggestion, maybe only put people over in that area that travel with children. One of the days our room didn't get cleaned, we had to ask for more towels, cups and creamer for coffee.

I liked how close to the beach the hotel is, I liked the firepits out front of hotel , we sat out there on our last evening. I would like an upstairs room next time we visit and not so close to the pool where we hear everything. I liked that we could get beach chairs from hotel and sit on the beach. We always like eating at Chad's cafe.
