Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyEverything is outdated, it’s clean but rooms are 30+ years style, lobby, common areas etc everything but modern. Yet it has the coziness and base for a great alpine resort but it’s needs a major face lift.
It’s the convenience, the closeness to the ski lifts, the parking, the facilities. It has everything you need.

United States of AmericaThere was a very bad smell upon arrival but I think overtime the heat dried out the dampness and smell at the opening of the apartment.
The property was well equipped in the kitchen department and the heat and hot water was very good at the end of a long day of activity.

United States of AmericaHot tubs were out of service frequently. We could not get to the Olympic Village Inn until the day after we were supposed to arrive because the roads were closed. We informed them of this issue a few days earlier and requested that they push out our reservation by one day. Yet they refused to accommodate us. Terms and Conditions be damned when it’s impossible to get there, so we won’t be staying at the Olympic Village Inn ever again in the winter. By the way, we had the same problem last year and Lakeland Village accommodated us.
Hotel has a good location for a quick shuttle to the ski area. Exceptional staff service especially from the shuttle operator, Scott. Quiet at night. Two TVs. Adequate cooking facilities. Ample hotel parking.

United States of AmericaOur weather timing was ok, we were snowed in for 3 days. The ski area took a while to open everything but they had to be mindful of the dangers of a lot of snow.

United States of AmericaFront office staff weren’t knowledgeable about booking a second night. Had to return to speak to someone else later that evening, and then another person the next day because they couldn’t help us. Then come to find out that we had to book online. Was a little frustrating.
Loved the sitting area separate from the sleeping area

United States of AmericaRooms are a bit old and mattresses could be slightly better.
Location of the Olympic Village Inn is great. It is right next to the Palisades Tahoe resort accessible by the shuttle that runs every 10 mins. Rooms are spacious for their price and the resort has good amenities like pool, hot tub, gym, ski check-in.

United States of AmericaThe locks on the door and pretty old school.
The location is very close to the base of Palisades and an easy walk for food or drinks. For skiing there is a shuttle that runs all day so you can put your boots on in your room and get to the slopes easily. There is a room with a nice bed, tv, easy chair and bench, a separate large bathroom, and a family room with a kitchenette. There is a large couch and folding dinner table. Overall, the room(s) have a mountain cottage vibe.

United States of AmericaThe rooms and building could definitely use some updating, but we understand that the decor is part of the charm of staying here. The game room was a little stinky, possibly because of its proximity to the gym, but it wasn't bad enough to keep us out of there.
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was clean, cozy and comfortable. We spent some time in the game room, which wasn't big, but provided a lot of fun and entertainment.
