I think the cost is a bit high for what it is. To be fair though, it is one of the lower cost options in Estes Park.

The view is awesome! The owner called me a few days in advance, met me there, and was generally very communicative and hospitable. I'd love to be there in summer to use the grills and patio furniture that overlook Mt. Meeker and Longs Peak!

Enjoyed using the over bed lamps for reading, but they need to be dusted.

Convenient location. On-site owners/staff were very helpful with early check-in. Various eateries were recommended when asked. ( Excellent choices) Our balcony/porch.was a great place to star gaze.

The property is extremely old. the place was exceptionally clean but room was furnished with mismatched furniture. The bathroom was extremely small and shower was difficult to use because it was old. The heater came on and we weren't expecting it. The temperature outside was in the 80s. There were no controls on the heater and we had difficulty turning it off. It continued to go on and off all night.

Location was ideal for us - away from traffic noise and crowds. The owner was very knowledgeable, friendly and hospitable. Close to the marina where we went kayaking. Has a nice view of Estes Park. Was able to see elk in the meadow close by during the evening. Price was reasonable.

It's just old. Bathroom is old, heating and cooling is old. Again, for the comparative price it was fine, but don't expect a high end hotel

Location is perfect. Great views, easy access, close to everything. Staff couldn't be any nicer. It's an old lodge. It's a bit outdated, not dirty but not spotless either. Compared to the prices of the other nearby places, it is definitely a place I'd stay again.

The host was super responsible and kindly called us twice - once the day before our arrival and on the day of our arrival - to confirm our estimated arrival time, parking details, the meeting location, and whether we needed any additional items in the hotel. He arranged everything ahead of time accordingly. As a superb local guide, he answered any questions the guests had and was very helpful and hospitable. The amenities were ok and good value for its location.

This is not a place of luxury, but we don't require much. We were very satisfied here for the night.

Tom was wonderful! So kind and helpful. The rooms had a hot shower and super comfortable bed after a long day of hiking. That's what we needed.

Todd is a wonderful host, he called us ahead of our stay to confirm our reservation and give us some check-in details. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a lovely view of the mountains right outside our window.  The decor was cabinesque. We felt like we were close enough to all that Estes has to offer as well as Rocky Mountain national park and still far enough away from all the action to have a relaxing stay.

The coffee maker pot did not work (too small for the machine). Otherwise everything was fine.

Booking.com had reserved a king bed room for us. However, I had requested a room with 2 beds. Todd, the person at the reception, made every effort to get another party of guests to switch with us and actually was able to give us the room we wanted when a rock climber couple agreed to switch with us. Todd was very kind and accommodating.

The AC and the washroom could have been a lil better and modern.

The lodge was very cozy and nice. The view of the mountains from the room is breathtaking. The location of the lodge is just 2 miles from downtown. Room was clean with decent amenities. The owner of the property Todd is a nice guy and is very helpful. Would like to visit again.
